Spent my 8 month celebration by ordering lunch by the pool and an evening yoga class. For dinner I made veggie burritos and watched tv.
I felt stress carried over from a bad weekend at work but found that swimming helped wash that all away.
Was reading something interesting today about how introverts feel drained by too much social interaction and extroverts feel drained when they are alone for too long.
I think I fall somewhere in the middle- Unless they are close friends I feel drained by too much socialization, but my version of socialization is talking to strangers 40 hours a week and then needing two days to recharge. Sometimes I won't leave my house on my days off and when I do I avoid small talk with people as much as possible. But when I don't leave my house I usually have atleast one long phone call with an old friend but never feel the need to go out in public and interact with people I don't know. What about you guys? Where would you say you fall?

Not sure where I fall on the scale exactly; I just love to interact with the people I love.

Hi Mel - What a lovely day of taking care of yourself to celebrate your 8 months! Congrats! You're an inspiration.
I'm an introvert - and college can be quite social. By Sunday I was running on empty and a day of not talking to anyone and not leaving my house helped a ton to recharge.
V & Dee - I forgot that you guys are heading into summer down there.

Ummm....just realised that I said I was grateful that it is hot for Dee and liss....oops....didn't mean that at all.
