DAy 11. By the skin of my teeth. Last night was the roughest I've had. Somehow, things were going so simply that I had to become paranoid, anxious, and then suddenly felt very alone. BF was unavailable, and I felt even lonelier. Thank god it was past bar closing time, I had $50 bucks in my pocket and was ready to spend it all at the nearest watering hole. So tired today... Everything is in slow-motion. But I get to see family tomorrow for SuperBowl get together. Just need to stay away from the beer and wine that will be flowing freely. Ugh. The stress returns.

I also will be at a super bowl gathering, I dont fear the alcohol that will always be around, I just try to remember what will happen to me if I drink it. Dont worry enjoy the super bowl with your family...everyone will be so happy to see you sober, come monday the topic will be the super bowl not what you or I did during the gathering,
I will be thinking about you during the game,

19 sober days in my rear view mirror. I just need to make through the rest of tonight and tomorrow and somehow I will have accomplished 3 weeks. I can't believe I'm this close to it.
I finally heard back from my doctor today, and I've got some fatty tissue in my liver. It's fully functional though. As long as I stay away from drinking, I'm going to be a-ok. Needless to say, it's put me in a really good mood today.

An exerpt from the Tonight show with Johnny Carson.
He had a golfers wife on. I believe it was Arnold Palmers but I could be wrong.
Johnny. " Do you do anything before the Masters to give Johnny good luck?
Wife. " Why yes I rub his balls."
Johnny." I'll bet that makes his putter stand up.
She was not amused.
Another exerpt
He had Zsa Zsa Gabor on, who for those that don't know of her was a movie star at the time.
Zsa Zsa bought her cat on the show ans had it on her lap.
Zsa Zsa. " So johnny do you want to pet my ***** she purred.
Johnny" I would love to if you would move that damn cat.
She was amused and got the answer she wanted.
This stuff was very risque at the time and I still find ut mildly amusing.

Day 9 here.
I've been waking up in the mornings, moaning, thinking I have an incredible hangover.
It takes a couple of minutes to come to and realize there is no hangover to deal with, I'm just groggy..!

Im going to bed after a particularly grumpy day 17, good riddance to this weekend.
I'd better wake up in a better mood tomorrow or else.
