Sponsor had me do a fear inventory last sunday and then just disappeared ...wants to go over it Monday and it's like...jeez you just don't ask someone to dig this crap up and then wait a week to talk about it...

Sokay though

just working the steps anyway and she can catch up later if she has time.

all is well!

Morning all. Going to finish decorating the room that my youngest may or may not move into. She is changing her mind all the time and driving me crazy. Well, it is pale lilac, so I don't mind having it.

She wants a wall full of flowers and butterflies. mmm - should be interesting.

I remember you doing that fear inventory last Sunday, wasn't it Nands? I'm a bit nervous of getting a sponsor because ... I don't know why. Just things seem to be working out OK and I'm scared it'll change.

I've got to be honest, you guys and the peeps on Substance Abuse sort of feel like my sponsor. I always come here if I have a problem. There is a lot of wisdom on here and you get lots of different view points.

And this time next year - I don't dare think more than 4 hours ahead at the moment. It seems to work!

Oh, Wibble, I have that too!! It's awful. I'm so fed up with being ill. I think now I have blood instead of alcohol and opiates, germs like me. I never used to get ill - all could be tumbling about me, and I would keep trucking!

Look what I found on t'internet!!

Excessive alcohol intake can harm the body's immune system in two ways. First, it produces an overall nutritional deficiency, depriving the body of valuable immune- boosting nutrients.

Second, alcohol, like sugar, consumed in excess can reduce the ability of white cells to kill germs. High doses of alcohol suppress the ability of the white blood cells to multiply, inhibit the action of killer white cells on cancer cells, and lessen the ability of macrophages to produce tumour necrosis factors.

One drink (the equivalent of 12 ounces of beer, 5 ounces of wine, or 1 ounces of hard liquor) does not appear to bother the immune system, but three or more drinks do. Damage to the immune system increases in proportion to the quantity of alcohol consumed. Amounts of alcohol that are enough to cause intoxication are also enough to suppress immunity.

Aww wibbs :ghug3 I hate being ill with flu. Last time I was ill I was pregnant with my youngest, that was nearly nine years ago, but I remember it well.

LB I liked your post, stuff like that makes sense!

Only just sat down for the evening, not even had dinner yet.

Hope you are all well x
