Hey Scaredy - I grew up in Upstate NY between Otisco and Skaneateles Lakes. We got dumped on big time because we were right smack dab between these two lakes. I miss the snow somewhat.

MIL said they are getting between 6 to 10 inches. She lives around Rochester and I have a sister that lives on Lake Shore Drive in Hamburg. She gets the most snow! My dad is in Liverpool, NY and he comes in 2nd heaviest snowfall. See my heart is still in NY. Sorry your plans are getting messed up though. No fun!

Well I just got off the phone with my sponser. She's still planning on coming tomorrow. Yeah! If she can't make it she'll call me in the morning.

All this Vegemite talk made me hungry to hear that great tune. One of my all time favorites - especially the flute!

Love that song too, Least. I looked at the lyrics yesterday..always thought it said

women glow and men thunder. It is "plunder." I am deaf in my right ear.

Probably explains a lot..

LOL it's kinda salty S...its one of those things ppl like it or hate it
buy a small jar until you find out if you like it
I used to like anchovies...also an acquired taste. When we ordered pizza delivered, I would ask them to put those lil' suckers on a couple of slices, since I was the only one in the family who had a taste for them. I asked my niece to bring me a jar so I could put them on the pizza they serve here. YUK!!! My taste buds are a bit messed up from the "no salt added" regimen. So, no more anchovies for me...no Vegemite either, I guess.

My daughter is in Easton, Pa. By noon, they had 3" and were expecting up to 10". We haven't had anything but a lot of rain here at the shore.

At 10:30 this a.m. five-year-olds from Kiddie University pre-school came to sing Christmas songs. They were adorable! There were two six-year-old girls with them who "carried" the group...you could hear their voices above all the rest. One little guy's Santa hat was too big and kept falling down over his eyes. A precious little girl didn't seem to be doing much singing...she was too busy looking around at the wheelchair-bound residents, smiling and waving at us. Just wanted to squish them!

Where do you find the lyrics to so many songs? Is it something I can look up? Where do I go?

Ooops Jerz...you can't have salt.

Sorry..it's just that, I latched onto the part about you being the only one in the family

that liked them. Same here.

Least..

Type in Land Down Under ..then search web. You will be directed to many items.

Be careful..when I clicked Lyricsdomain.com..my spyware kicked it out as potentially

harmful, so I tried another choice.

Just play around with it..it's fun.

Why Queeny is whining today...

A) It snoweth again blizzard weather. About 2 feet and it's still 2 days until winter. Oh, and no plow guy.

B) Her ankle is swollen to Queen size and she didn't do anything to make it do that and it really hurts.

C) My Christmas shopping isn't done.

D) I am out of all the "good" snacks and can't shop until tomorrow.

E) All of the above.

I need a good laugh. Who has the whoopie cushion?

Hey Queeny...wonder what aisle the "good stuff" is on tomorrow? Maybe it's with the cat food?

For your ankle...RICE---rest, ice, compression (ACE bandage) and elevation.

I'm off to work...hope the drunk and disorderlies are at least HAPPY drunks tonight!

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Ah...

...This time I'm upset with myself. For some stupid reason, I continue to be one of the few people at work who actually works. This makes me a complete idiot. All the lazy people make as much as I do (or more) and hardly do a thing.

I can see it now...I'm gonna flip.

I'll "go on strike". I'll refuse to do any work while the people in the back are goofing off. I'll just stand there....and do nothing but breathe. Works for me.
