My Giants won last night...thank goodness. Don't know what happened to them the last couple of weeks...but, they looked like they had it back together again.

Two - three times a year, we have a special breakfast with real eggs in the Activities Room. This morning, it was fresh cantalope, eggs, corned beef hash, garlic biscuits, coffee, oj...YUMMY!

I don't really have any whines today...YET. But, I thought I'd make this available for anyone who feels the need!

Whine...my boy is not coming home today after all...I got to see him briefly two days

ago..but I will see him Christmas day when we all gather...and two days after..he is in the Navy.

I will not cry..he is with my girls..no need to drive down the hills in this weather.

Besides..all my shopping was done yesterday..and I am wrapping all today!

Would have too busy to do anything with him..I just miss him.

Ok, major whine fest...

1) it's still hella cold

2) I made about 108 cookies today, to decorate with my kids. We made it through about 35 of them before I had to leave to go...

3) Christmas shopping. Lots of sub-whines here:
a) TRAFFIC
b) MORONS IN THE STORES, who are also RUDE
c) not finding what I went shopping for, so I have to go back tomorrow
d) being on my feet for 5 freaking hours

4) and also, I was making beef stew in the crockpot for dinner. I put everything in at 3:00, hoping it would be done around 7-ish if I turned it on high. Well guess what?? I FORGOT TO TURN IT ON. Around 5:30 my husband noticed that the meat wasn't cooking and the outside of the pot was cold... GRRRRRRR. So they had frozen pizza for dinner while I was out shopping.

Ok I think I'm done now. LOL

whining simply as its been a long day an first time i sat down an had nothing else to do until tomorrow was ridiculously late at night

Another day of waking up feeling crappy. Even took a nap hoping to feel better, but didn't. Now daughter wants to go shopping so must go out in the bitter cold. I don't want to DO anything but will have to tolerate her shopping. All I want to do is to feel better, not so sick all the time.
