Are photographs of a mother breast-feeding her child indecent?
The social networking site Facebook has sparked a massive online debate — and protests — and after removing photos that expose too much of a mother's breast.
Facebook spokesman Barry Schnitt said the Web site takes no action over most breast-feeding photos because they follow the site's terms of use but others are removed to ensure the site remains safe and secure for all users, including children.

My sons were 6 and 7 years old when my daughter was born in May of 1963. When I first brought her home from the hospital, I would lie on the bottom one of their bunk beds to nurse her.
One day, the boys were outside playing with their friends, and the oldest came in and asked what I was doing. Without blinking an eye, I said, "Feeding Kimberly. This is the way babies are fed...the way I fed you and Scott when you were babies, too."
He left without saying a word but came back a few minutes later with Scott following and said, "You see! I told you!" I could just imagine the conversation when John "broke the news" to his younger brother. I told them it was OK for them to watch, but they were not to bring the rest of the kids up to see.

And, the count-down begins. Just about 31 hours EST.
Classic New Year Wishes
Then sing, young hearts that are full of cheer,
With never a thought of sorrow;
The old goes out, but the glad young year
Comes merrily in tomorrow
Emily Miller
Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each New Year find you a
better man.
Benjamin Franklin
A happy New Year! Grant that I
May bring no tear to any eye
When this New Year in time shall end
Let it be said I've played the friend,
Have lived and loved and labored here,
And made of it a happy year.

We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called "Opportunity" and its first chapter is New Year's Day.

Resolve to make at least one person happy every day, and then in ten years you may have made three thousand, six hundred and fifty persons happy, or brightened a small town by your contribution to the fund of general enjoyment.

Your Merry Christmas may depend on what others do for you. But your Happy New Year depends on what you do for others.

Every new year people make resolutions to change aspects of themselves they believe are negative. A majority of people revert back to how they were before and feel like failures. This year I challenge you to a new resolution. I challenge you to just be yourself.

In the New Year, may your right hand always be stretched out in friendship, never in want.

Letter to my boss:
Dear (…yeah, sure…) Boss;
I hope you’re nice and comfy in your office chair. Are you feeling well? We wouldn’t want you to strain any muscles in your hands by lifting a finger. We’re out here doing all of the work for you. Go ahead…talk all day long on the phone to your girlfriend…it’s O-KAY! We enjoy working hard and not being compensated for it. You see, all of us learned a long time ago that hard work builds character (if not a fat bank account)…character is a good thing! Who needs money? We certainly don’t! Why else would we be working here?
Enjoy it while it lasts, pal.
Your’s truly,
Staff
P.S.--Thanks for giving us the shaft this holiday season. What a nice surprise...It's much better than a bonus. Hugs and kisses.

Jerz, you are an amazing lady and an inspiration to this codie.
My whine...and I'll only whine this once...15 pounds or die trying!!! I lost 30 pounds a few years back, felt the best I had in years. I gained 15 back and even though I'm not overweight, I need to lose them again to get rid of my lower back pain. I'm giving myself to April, that's only about 5 pounds a month.
Happy New Years Whiners!! May 2009 be the Whiniest year ever
