Hi everyone too! Grateful for a low key day. I made a call I needed to make, but I should have made a few more.
I hear we may get rain off and on for the next few days.
Astro, I hope you and your brother are doing well. You are both in my prayers.
Alpine, I think it's remarkable how you manage to get so much done! So glad you're here.
Peke, glad to see you here. Glad the wedding was a success.
So very grateful BratCat is back! Oh Purps, I was really emotionally invested in that. So glad he came home.
Have a wonderful evening all. Pleasant Dreams and grateful for you all!

Extra grat today to makeup my missed one yesterday - I need to keep my karma ducks all in a row

Peke I watch ID channel "Fear Thy Neighbor" every now and then among the plethora of murder shows to watch. Do you have a favorite(s)? Oh the psychopath one is especially alarmingly good.

Grateful -

- for quotes that make me more aware of the goodness around me..
- Like this one: "Gratitude is one of the sweet shortcuts to finding peace of mind and happiness inside. No matter what is going on outside of us, there's always something we could be grateful for."

Zen, Fear Thy Neighbor scares me. I've had some weirdo almost psycho neighbors and you kind of have to be careful. People can be really disturbed. I'm a lot more careful than I used to be. But no one takes me for a push over. I make sure that doesn't happen.
Astro sending prayers to you and your brother. Bless you for being there for him.
Grateful for getting in and out of Walgreens pretty quickly! Yay!
Grateful for my sister and I watching an interview with John Lear, son of the inventor of the Lear jet. Super interesting knowledgeable man. Grateful for my sister. I hope we can stay on good terms. When things are going well, we can have a great time together. But they can turn too. Maybe we're past that. I hope and pray.
I just found a woman I went to high school with in Chicago who lives in Pheonix now. She looks almost the same. I should get in touch with her. She was in this group of girls I hung around with, they took me in. I was from another h.s. They were all pom pom girls, models, homecoming queens. Kind of interesting they took me into their group when they wouldn't take anyone else. I was lucky because I had no friends when I moved there and they ended up being awesome friends to me.
So happy Purps' kitty is home and warm and safe.
Hope everyone has a wonderful, cozy evening. Pleasant Dreams.

Grateful to be able to do snow management
Grateful for a treadmill workout
Grateful for dark chocolate.

-A Large umbrella to hide under while I walked the dogs in the rain
-A visit to Home Depot to take the dogs to sniff and socialize
-My Instant Pot to make husband a honey garlic soy chicken dish

Aly, I have lived through "fear thy girlfriend" in the past. All the drugging and drinking we did, did not help the relationship one tiny bit. Live sober and learn from it.

Nice to see the moon currently in my window. Helps me feel grounded in the here and now.

Gratitude -

- for synthetic light machine oil at $10 an ounce and oil removal spray for over using the oil.
- plastic tweezers no zircon encrustment unfortunately
- Frank Zappa

Zen, I can relate. I've had maybe 2 Fear Thy Boyfriends. They quit bugging me just before I was about to call the police. Oy, that was awful. Don't miss those days, huh?

Hi all I mistakenly put my gratitude post on the whiners thread two days ago and then neglected to post yesterday. So, like Zen, I'm herding a duck back in line here!!

Im grateful for:

-The first pale green sprout coming up in a seedling pot
-getting my back to crack in yesterday's yoga - it helps my lower back pain
-lovely time getting Easter flowers in line for next week with other women in my church
-figuring out what I did wrong with my knitting and redoing it

Have a good one all.

Grateful for a wife who is adventurous, who doesn't mind a small cabin with no electricity or running water, who can handle using a Port-A-Potty, and who's patient with me while I get a fire going in the woodstove.
Grateful to be home again, wife went grocery shopping (grateful for that too!) and we're going out to Denny's for a casual meal.
Grateful to get our road trip gear put away and now I have some logs to split for next years firewood pile.

Awoke sober for the first win of the day. I watched an exciting F1 race in Australia. The #1 driver broke his 20 race winning streak..so sad, to bad . A big pot of 'Food Helper' will hold me over for hot evening meals this coming week. BKA pancake post has me hungry for pancakes too. I could drink a tall glass of warm maple syrup right now Did the daily chores, knocked around the place fiddling with slot car bits and bobs. I have a lot of broken cars left over from my drugging with drink days. With new mystery parts too. Ah yes, drunken purchasing powerless of mine. Is what it is make up and move on. Oh amazon delivered to the wrong door those buggers. Gone are my can fruit and corn I am composing an angry email to send worldwide to all amazon employees. Mess with the bull get the horns Naw I'll suck it up. Dang It tho.

Grateful -

- for the deliveries to my front door and not some photo of a mystery door posted delivery to me.
- letting go
- Ry cuddles and pets
- my 17 inch laptop. my 14 inch one a bit small.
- enough superman strength to open my windows. Egad, they are heavy.
- good morning tunes to drink coffee by.

Rest well.

Zen, sorry your delivery got messed up. How frustrating! You should let them know. They may replace it. I hope. It may be worth a try.
Grateful this headache I have and can't seem to get rid of, is not from imbibing. Still annoying nonetheless.
Grateful to spend some time talking and watching Capote with my sister. We had fun. We both got tired and I like to leave before her husband gets up to get ready to go to work. He's working nights now and it's hard for him to get enough sleep. I like to give them some privacy.
Alpine, you were busy today! Good for you. I hope you sleep well tonight.
Astro, I hope you are doing ok with your brother and glad to hear he seems to be feeling a little better.
Hope you all have a wonderful evening. Pleasant dreams and love and peace to you all.

Zen, I agree with Aly, get a refund or your order delivered to your address, if you provided the correct address Amazon needs to make it right Can't tell ya how many times I've had to retrieve a misdelivered package from a neighbor's front door.

Grateful for a chicken fried steak, haven't had one of those in ages.
Grateful for artisan sourdough bread to have with breakfast.
Grateful that my backache is a dull roar this morning rather than shooting pains.
Grateful to be working from home a bit today and getting some chores done.
