Hey everyone. I thought I posted at lunch time and it got lost. I hate it when I put time into recognizing everyone and doing my grats and it goes poof. Anyway, I will summarize. Turs, least, Aly and anyone who is struggling we are here for you. Sending virtual hugs.

Grateful for so much.

Will try again tomorrow!

CBS, it should’ve auto saved your post. Bottom left of the text box it’ll let you retrieve it. Press the button with ‘Restore auto saved content’

Grateful for being sober.
Grateful to have an appointment to see the hand specialist tomorrow. (I think)!
Grateful for all your Grats

Grateful Vexcia has found the way here.
Grateful for Caramel’s concise but powerful words.
Grateful for the motto of done is better than good. I live that one out quite a bit.
Grateful for a trip to the bakery with my daughter last night. We’ve moved on from fro yo I guess. But the main thing is we had fun and she even laughed at some of my goofy jokes.
Grateful for coffee. Wish it would kick in though! Still feel like my brain is in mud.
Grateful for Fearless’ framing of HP.
Grateful for the incredible weather we are having. It is too warm but the mornings and evenings are just, i don’t know, divine. The smell of mountain laurel is on the breeze and everything is blooming and like I said, last night i was out, laughing with my daughter. Felt so lucky in those moments.
Grateful for all of you here.

Grateful for Caramel’s few right words
Grateful for Numblady’s always eloquent way of speaking/writing
CBS, sorry you lost your post. That’s the worst
Turps, glad you are feeling better. It seems like you have a good group of supportive friends
Welcome to grat thread, vexi! Hope you will hang around
Numblady, I also wanted to say yes to that - done better than good. Helps me remember things don’t have to be perfect.
Grateful to pass on watching Yellowstone last night. It was too late to get started and I need to get to bed at a reasonable hour for a good night sleep. Also those kinds of shows before bed just get me all wired up
Grateful Mr F earned his orange belt in karate last night. Only five more belts to go before black belt (I think). He’s having fun and that’s the important thing
Grateful friends daughter got accepted to the STEM HS program
Grateful to find yummy Parmesan crisps at Grocery Outlet
Grateful for a final meeting today with a client lost to another broker. Bittersweet
Grateful for our special group

Pinched nerve back with a vengeance last night. Maybe because I went paddle boarding yesterday?
Grateful that it doesn't bother me much once I'm up and moving around, just hurts at night.
Grateful for a good support group meeting last night with friends in grief.
Grateful for the bit of rain we've had, which we really needed.
Grateful for the GP.

Fearless - Nice that MrF got his orange belt. I don't get karate, but I know many who just love it.
Parmesan Crisps I haven't seen them.
Hex - It's so good to have you join us.
Turs - Hoping the pinched nerve pain eases up soon.
Alpine - Enjoy your visit - hope everything goes perfectly.
Grateful I've resisted munching on bad stuff.
Grateful for the ability to ignore rude & intolerant people.
Grateful I've slept ok for a whole week.
Grateful for the GP and SR - so very glad I found it 15 yrs. ago & decided to move in.

Fearless- Great skill to differentiate what is your responsibility and worry and what belongs to others. Is your husband taking Shotokan? My kids and I were into that a lot. Daughter E got to third brown belt and took 8 years. 🥋🥋🥋
Alpine- So cool about the salad and dental appointment working out. I was going to have to travel in yucky weather to Walmart (far away where I live) and get snow stakes to practice golf moves indoors, but lo and behold! Bamboo sticks found on our ‘free’ table.😁🥗🦷
Hev- I eat plain Chobani yogurt when I don’t eat a giant breakfast, and I sprinkle chia seeds and cinnamon on it, then add berries. You get used to it 🥴🍓🫐
Turs- Sorry about the nerve pain getting at you with a vengeance. I’m also weary about getting a massage by other people, not COVID scared, but scared about my neck fusion and my arm incision site ⚡️⚡️💥💥🧘🏼‍♀️
Caramel-Agree, lots of times less is more…..in words AND household trinkets. I’m loquacious today though 😜
Aly-❤️❤️❤️Yay to making time for self love!. You NEED it.🛀🏼
Vex-welcome! 🎊🪅🎏🪄🎁
Mags-I think I need to see your hand specialist. Hope your appointment goes well 🙏🏼🤚🏼🤚🏼🤚🏼
NL-Wonderful you had a great time with your daughter. What a nice memory you created together 👩🏼‍❤️‍👩🏻
I don’t know what a laurel tree smells like, it must be good…..👃🏼🌳
CBS - That has happened to me here too, and then I finally saw the ‘remember me button next to the login in. Now I hit they EVERY time before I put my login name and password in. Happens to me less often.😲🤩

Grateful to be reminded everything will pass (my terrible cynical angry mood, my lack of sleep, the cruddy neighbor upstairs, the cloudy drizzly weather, the very painful hand and now arm is acting up)
Grateful YouTube, and a potentially new bread recipe that’s is made in the Dutch oven. Will post pic if successful 🍞
Grateful for a giant breakfast 🥞🍳🥓🧃☕️
Grateful I posted here in the middle of the night instead of drinking
Grateful for all of you
Grateful for a wonderful hike yesterday. Dangerous, beautiful, rewarding.

Thank you, Free!

Your pics are lovely, but do look a little scary. I'd be scared to get that close to the edge! But it sure is beautiful.

Grateful for you all!

Wow free! Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I’d be too scared to do that. I admire your courage!
Mr F and sonny boy do taekwondo. Sonny got his black belt and is working on second degree. He helps Mr f practice because it’s harder for him to remember all the forms
so glad you posted here instead of drinking. Sorry about your hand and arm

Tursiops hope you managed a restful night with the nerve pain.
Free, fabulous photos. Being sober is certainly an incentive for your hikes! You are very brave! Wow your bread looks delicious!

Grateful to be here among the Grat Pack.
Grateful I don’t have any inclination to drink. Once I thought that was an impossible task.
Grateful I’m adjusting to the one hour clock change.
Grateful I just remembered I need to put the wheelie bin out before 7am. It’s nearly 6.30am.

Grateful for those pics — but wow they are scary!
Grateful for more belly laughs with my daughter—last night it was because we were trying to coax the dog outside to go to the bathroom one last time (like, who has to beg their dog to go outside?!) and she was just giving us the most hilarious “aww hell no” side eye and I commented on that. My daughter even tried to take a picture of the face.
Grateful last night was okay. Started off very rough as my daughter had to take a math placement exam that involved a lot of concepts she had never seen before. As a perfectionist, she was just really melting down. But i did a better (though still highly imperfect job) of just knowing she was going to be that way and not trying to fix it or view it as a disruption to me (even though it was since it was still the work day). Then my son had a meltdown of his own about me refusing to make dinner right when he wanted it. And I held my ground, though I got him a snack.
Grateful I am trying to learn new things like detachment and boundaries and faith that my kids and I are going to be okay.
Grateful Alpine will get to see Mr. Alpine.
Grateful my boss gave us Friday off and I’m going to just take it, even though I know I have lots of work to do and have already been out a good deal.
Grateful for the GP and all who commune here.

Catching up quickly, busy morning with lots to do!

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for telework, even though I'm choosing to go into the office today for a few hours.
Grateful to get some college research done yesterday.
Grateful that although my son lost his lacrosse game and some of his teammates blamed the defenders (which my son is), I was able to make him some pasta and just let him be upset for a bit.
Grateful I had a fairly productive day at work yesterday, I often feel like I'm spinning my wheels lately?
Grateful I'm taking my son for a college visit tomorrow night, just the two of us in an Airbnb.
Grateful I'll be able to connect with a friend and her daughter while we're there.
Grateful to be sober.
