Bwahaha just had to get in there.

So grateful to Dee for his quiet miracle working and industriousness.
Grateful our flight is tonight (hope it goes off without a hitch given snow in forecast at the destination).
Grateful for another good therapy session yesterday.
Grateful Aly successfully navigated the grocery store.
Grateful I can hopefully sleep in some over spring break. Still tired and feeling kind of puny.
Grateful, so freaking grateful I am not in my old job which is just a never ending parade of chaos—regularly not of their own making and out of their control.
Grateful the dog doesn’t bark all that often.
Grateful for the fabulous GP!

NL, so happy you're getting away for a little bit - crazy about the snow though! We're supposed to get some too. Also totally agree about Dee's "quiet miracle working," what a great way to put it.
Alpine, I still need to see a photo of Riley, one of our GP mascots!
Free, I think you said you're an introvert but you seem to do a ton of entertaining! And travel (I'm currently looking up Tauck tours, an Alaskan cruise sounds incredible).
Aly, good for you for overcoming your anxiety and getting the shopping done, as well as stretching your patience for your mom.
CBS, that's such a cool photo. I'm really glad you all seem to be coping with your brother's passing even though I know it's incredibly hard.
Turs, happy you're spending time with family and doing art projects.
Hev, if Mr. H responds well to criticism, that is worth its weight in gold - do not let him go!

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for telework, especially on Mondays and Fridays.
Grateful a dreaded presentation is behind me.
Grateful to have a scheduled meeting with my boss this morning.
Grateful for flowers from a friend.
Grateful for a planned lunch with SIL and MIL tomorrow, and just grateful to have them in my life, period.
Grateful for my sweet dogs.
Grateful to be able to help my husband through his treatment and side effects.
Grateful to be consciously thinking about how to be kinder to myself.
Grateful to be sober.

Thanks Dee!
Congrats on shotgun NL!
PS good on you for being kinder to yourself. I need to work on that.
Alpine I bet your house will sell fast. Good luck.
Aly I am glad you got your shopping done. I get anxious in stores too.
Hev glad your husband takes constructive criticism well. My husband dishes it out but he can take it too. ;0)

Grateful I get to play tennis this morning. I hope the sun comes out, it has been dreary, cold and rainy for days.
Grateful for my sobriety.
Grateful that my granddaughter is spending the night tonight.
Grateful my husband's business is doing so well.
Grateful for health insurance.
Grateful for SR and the GP.

Alpine, how exciting about house on the market. Hoping it sells fast
Least thinking of you
Grateful to stop in quick. Went down an internet rabbit hole researching for a work article
Grateful my morning meeting got canceled. Going for a short run instead
Grateful for each of you

Aly - Glad you got the shopping chore done. How's the hamper looking?
Free - That is my ideal weight! Though I'll likely never see it again.
PalmerSage - Enjoy your lunch with the family - I always wished for nice in-laws but the closeness never happened.
CBS - Have fun with granddaughter. So nice. My son didn't choose to have children - so I'm grandma to 3 kitties.
Grateful for winter's last hurrah (we hope). Bomb cyclone/ Bombogenesis. Big snow tomorrow.
Grateful for sun until the snow starts.
Grateful it's Friday but not like in the old days - the beginning of a lost weekend.
Grateful for each & every GP 'er. Love you all.

This is the one we are going on…..I hope.

Grateful to post late than never today, to catch up on all the posts, and yes, Dee, you are omnipresent here, and even though it’s your ‘job’, your leadership is so appreciated. Really……

Grateful I tried to ski today, and caught an almost fall
Grateful for warmer temps coming next week.
Grateful youngest daughter should arrive tomorrow
Grateful for grocery shopping, I don’t like it much either, or shopping in general (going soon, husband helping)
Grateful Dr Free also takes gentle speaking. I usually preface something I feel needs to be said with, “Honey, gently speaking…..(fill in the blank with something like ‘you are crunching those chips fairly loudly, maybe try keeping your lips closed?’
Grateful for morning coffee, and now chai tea
Grateful for awesome sleep last night
Grateful for sobriety
Grateful my sobriety is becoming a non issue in social situations
Grateful my girlfriend gave me $hit last night, it’s supposed to be to help my hand get stronger, like a stress squeezer 💩

Carmel good to see you. I donated three years of my life to night shift, I would get so nauseated, and ate a lot of popcorn to stay awake. Yes, thankful for all those persons…..
Alpine, you will get an offer this week that’s fantastic on your home
Aly, glad you got out there and got the shopping done
PS, your attitude is so great, what a wonderful woman you are amongst so much going on about you
NL, hope your trip is safe and wonderful
Hev, you can get there on the fitness. Baby steps. Believe, Act, Sustain. I’m the same size I was in high school except for when I was pregnant (now near 60😳🤯
Fearless, hope all is well in California
Turs, would you consider posting pics of your work?
Mags, it’s so good to see you here, you give so much to SR, all of us appreciate you so much

Grateful for the new thread!
Grateful for restful sleep.
Grateful for a beautiful paddle in the bay, in calm, flat water.
Grateful to be having dinner with the kids tonight.
Free, I might post some art work, thanks for asking ... it would make me recognizable to family ... but then again, probably not much likelihood of my family surfing SR!!

PS, I would love to share a picture of Riley, I have tried but I am not sure how to do it. I am not the most tech savvy.

Alpine, it took me a few mishaps to post pics but it’s easy when you know looking forward to seeing pics of Riley.

Free, aw thanks. I love SR to be able to learn how to grow (recovery) in my sobriety from all the marvellous folk here.
on the hand strengther. I got one which is like the keys on a trumpet. Is a good help though. (Probably not as much fun as yours. )

Grateful for another Sober Saturday morning .
Grateful for some fresh fruit salad I bought at the local market.
Grateful for the shopping bag on wheels I bought for the heavy bird food I have to fetch now they don’t deliver.
Grateful I still have my sense of humour.
Grateful for SR and all of the Grat Pack

Grateful for another sober day and night
Grateful to speak with Mr. Alpine. We did not get to do Teams because he got home too late and with the time difference between there and here it would be late for me to be functional
Grateful that hopefully this is the last major snowstorm of the season
Grateful I am one day closer to being with Mr. Alpine
Grateful for my Riley boy.
Grateful for all of you
