Grateful for all Gilmer shared, for the light she brought to this forum. May she rest in peace.

Grateful that those who have passed on in physical form never really left. They will always carry on with us in spirit. Grateful for what they taught us and for the positive messages they left for us as we continue on.
Numblady, your cat loves ponytail holders? one of my cat loves ponytails. When I have my hair up and I’m doing sit ups, she will come up behind me and bat my ponytail around. It’s pretty hilarious
Grateful to be able to go outside for a run soon since there is a break in the rain.
Grateful for all of you

Grateful for a new day sober.
Grateful I don't drink anymore when sad or strong feelings come up, ODAAT.
So sorry to lose our friend Kathy, but I know she is not struggling anymore and I know she is happy. ♥
Grateful for all of you beautiful support, esp. showing up here every day!

Grateful to have laughed & cried with Kathy these past few months - a truly unique individual who made me a better person.

Grateful for the glorious sunshine, even if it was below zero last night.

Oh my gosh, I am so very sorry to read about Gilmer's passing, I didn't know. May she rest in peace. xx

Grateful to know that Kathy is no longer suffering.
Grateful for a good nights sleep.
Grateful for a good cup of tea.
Grateful for a peaceful Sunday morning.
Grateful my daughter is happy.
Grateful my little cat was so happy to see me this morning.
Grateful for a warm house, it's blowing a gale out there.
Grateful to you all for your kind words and ongoing support.
xxxx

Numblady, my little cat loves pony tail holders, or bobbles as we call them here, she plays for hours with them, tossing them up in the air, batting them, pouncing on them etc, etc. Cats are so entertaining. xxx

  • Grateful we survived the 8 year old, 7-girl, 5-overnight-guest sleepover! And I even got some great sleep sandwiched between time with the girls.
  • Grateful that Daisy and Fearless have cats on the same wavelength. That is so funny Fearless about the actual ponytail. We used to have a cat that just loved to drape herself basically on our heads when we sat ont he couch but luckily she wasn’t much of a swatter!
  • Grateful for naps.
  • Grateful for a random scene I witnessed yesterday. A large dog was jumping up on an old woman who appeared homeless (she had a large turquoise suitcase plus several large shopping bags). The two owners were beside the dog, who was on a leash. The look on the old woman’s face was one of sheer, unadulterated joy. She had clearly been petting the dog and was even enjoying the love of the dog jumping up on her. I just saw it when I drove by. I wish I could have captured her smile somewhere besides my memory. I feel lucky I witnessed it. For all the other things going on in her or their lives it was a shared moment of happiness thanks to the dog.
  • Grateful for our animals. Grateful for how VERY INTERESTING i apparently am to my cats.
  • Grateful for all of you.

That was a lovely story, Numblady.

Grateful for the ability to change my attitude.
Grateful for sobriety so I can make sensible decisions - mostly.
Grateful for the return to healthy eating.

Grateful to share cat stories. By the way, one of my cats is named Daisy
Grateful for sleep overs - at someone else’s house
Grateful my husband is able to get his mind off his shoulder pain by rewatching Game of Thrones with me. He thinks he may have a torn rotator cuff
Grateful for medical insurance
Grateful to have watched The Bird Box. In my past,I would have watched a movie like this drinking and probably stoned. Grateful to watch it sober and think about and discuss its deep meanings on many levels. Grateful that I don’t need a substance to find my creativity, and that I have more depth in sobriety.

Grateful for a warm home.

Grateful for my husband, who clears the walkways of snow.

Grateful that my car is hanging in there; so far, so good.

So very grateful that family members I connected with this weekend seem to be safe and sound at this time.

Grateful that I once had a horse who liked pony tails and elastics. She'd pull the elastic out of my hair and throw it up in the air. Kook. ♥
Grateful to have woken feeling in a good mood and no hangover.
Grateful for all of you. xxoo

Me, too!

Grateful that it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things if I drop a few balls.
