Grateful to be sober and wanting to stay sober.
FBL- glad your mom is doing better!
Grateful to be pretty healthy despite some weird medical things they are finding right now. Grateful my body seems tough enough to withstand a lot of this and I seem to be still ok.

FBL, grateful for the good news on your mother.
Grateful that for me and my family, hunger is a passing feeling not a real threat (is it normal to feel sad for all the people who don’t have the thing you are grateful for, or to feel like you don’t want to tempt fate by being grateful for something that could get worse?)
Grateful both of my kids had a good report card, which is a big deal especially considering my son’s struggles.
Grateful for chances to be kind and generous to strangers.
Grateful that in three days’ time my daughter’s slumber party will be over.
Grateful for sweet sober sleep.
Grateful for your posts, loved the image of the town clock chiming, Caramel.

Aly, I hope the medical issues get resolved!
Grateful to know everything passes and it’s always one day at a time
Grateful to turn off the depressing news for a while, to just focus on my own life, what I can control, and gratitude
Grateful to look forward to some time with my husband this weekend to catch up and have a date night.

Grateful to wake up bright and alert, no hangover, no guilt.
Grateful the school run went smoothly.
Grateful to take my mum grocery shopping, do mine too and get it put away ( my least favourite chore)
Grateful to watch my little cat pouncing sidewards and being silly.
Grateful for home made soup for lunch.

Grateful for time to post here.

Grateful for a new vacuum cleaner, Luke is a German Shedder and there is hair all the time is seems like, but we love him anyway. ♥
Grateful to be sober and safe and away from dangerous people I used to know.

Grateful for the love, light and laughter that Kathy (Gilmer) so freely shared here at SR. Grateful that her suffering is now over.

Thank you, FBL, for sharing the news of Kathy’s passing. I had not heard. Grateful too she is free of suffering. Everything I post below seems so trivial but to carry on in kindness here goes...
Grateful for the love and support of this place.
Grateful that it is not very long before buds appear on trees that it seems impossible to believe are not dead in their barren and denuded winter state.
Grateful for the endless amusement my little kitty can derive from a ponytail holder. These are his playthings. He will flip one around in his paw, then stare it for a long time like a mortal enemy, then pounce again and again.
Grateful that I did not set an alarm clock this morning and just slept.
Grateful for this life, for each breath, for the people who cross my path while I am here, including each of you and most especially Gilmer.
Grateful for the love and support of this place.
