You out that into words for me, Numblady - the “what the f” look. Love seeing that on my cats faces. So funny! It’s pretty constant too
Grateful to have slept in

Grateful this is not a Saturday morning from the bad old days. Hungover & filled with regret.....no, thank you.
Grateful that the birds are enjoying our Christmas tree on the deck, but those pesky squirrels are hogging the seed.
Grateful to be able to trust myself again - no more erratic behavior.

Grateful my son got through his entrance exam and, despite my fears, he emerged from the testing room with a smile and said he liked the test.
Grateful for my daughter’s compassion that despite what feels like constant fighting between the two of them, she was worried for her brother the whole time. I wish I could take their embrace when it was over and make it like that part of Star Wars where one of the characters’ images is displayed as a 3-D thing and it talks. LIke I could just have that in my pocket and bust it out when they are screaming at each other? I digress..
Grateful for a date night with my husband and the yummy food we ate, and the dedication of the hundreds of people that went in to producing the opera we saw (though we left at intermission to get dessert so I feel like I should share that caveat).
Grateful for the many artists in the world.
Grateful I ordered a book on caring for citrus plants in the mail and it came yesterday.
Grateful for Texas wildflowers. They are starting to pop up!
Grateful to you and your posts. I protect this sliver of time and look forward to the chance to read your observations so much.
Grateful for almighty coffee!
Grateful for rain because I hate watering plants, although I love them.
Grateful for cheese.
Grateful that not drinking has opened my heart and mind up to people who also do not drink or don’t drink like I used to. I used to dismiss and judge them. Now I want to go find them.

Grateful that my kids seem happy.
Grateful to be of service to others.

Congrats about your son, Numblady!
Grateful for coffee! I get it made extra special every morning. My husband makes a special white chocolate raspberry mocha with the special syrups. He doesn’t like Starbucks and got tired of me talking about their fancy yummy drinks. So he spent some money on a fancy espresso machine, a coffee recipe book and fancy syrups
Grateful for the Sunday morning show
Grateful husband is making omelets for breakfast
Grateful to go looking at cars today. Getting ready to trade in my high falutin gas guzzler car I’ve had for over 3 years now, since before I stopped drinking. Looking for a hybrid and something that is more environmental and financial friendly and fits my values and personality. Strange to think about the memories from my current car and the person I was when I got it and who I am today, The times I drank and drove and was lucky enough to never get a DUI. Though I did cause a couple fender benders. Weird to think about how a car can bring about such deep feelings.
Grateful it is Spring like weather here today, and to plan to go for a run and bike ride with sonny boy later. The weather is a bit of a tease and I know we will get more cold and rain before real Spring but I will soak it up today.
