Grateful for a really exciting, challenging, scary job interview tomorrow. Afraid because of PAWS, but grateful for the chance to get on my feet and grateful that I can accept whatever the outcome...
Grateful for a really interesting class tonight by a bible scholar...

Grateful for my SR friends, lending support and kindness...Aly

Grateful I made wonderful borscht and quiche, even though it doesn't sound like a good combo, and shared it with my mom and bro. Glad again that I am cooking again.

And grateful for good time with the kids in the substance abuse program last night when I was volunteering. Glad they seemed to enjoy it, too.

Grateful my dog holds it together while I'm gone for so long.
Grateful to keep working on catching my reactivity.
Grateful to stop making a big deal of things which then causes the roller coaster....
Grateful that my street has a mailbox on it! Where I used to live they removed the mailbox off the street. I went to mail something one day and the whole box was gone!
Grateful for the little things that make us feel human.

Drooooooool. My mother used to make borscht often, nothing like a hot bowlful with a dollop of sour cream on top.

Grateful for ethnic cooking. My hamburger pie is a favorite though

And you do have to use the word dollop, too, of course ; )

Grateful for NOT taking a walk today. The weather wasn't beautiful; I was tired. I felt like a was "supposed" to do it and, today, that's more of a reason not to do something. Compulsive exercise was a huge addiction for me. Glad I know today that sometimes self-care is about not doing something if I don't feel like it. Glad I know "I don't feel like it" is OK sometimes and that I can TAKE IT EASY.

And grateful for my furnace.

Grateful I keep working on identifying what I do and don't have control over.
Grateful to choose instead to put my energy into choosing my reactions and finding possible solutions.
Grateful for babysteps.
Grateful for the pause button that shows up lately before I throw energy into reacting.
Grateful to CHOOSE.

Grateful I handed out medallions...I had no idea two men would pick up coins for 33years and 34 years....Grateful I handled it speechless mouth gaping...just gave them a hug and said my honor....
Grateful to talk with a newcomer after the meeting....just a few minutes in the parking lot.

Good night all...grateful to you and SR
