Grateful for the food pantry, the people who donate food, the business that raise money to support it, the suppliers that sell milk and eggs below cost.

Grateful to my friend who drives there each week...grateful that I can physically help him...grateful for the time left he has able to walk and drive

Grateful that alcoholism and addiction are treatable

Grateful this is my third longest period of time quitting smoking in over 35 years...

Grateful for my buddy Cuds - cat

so much more...but tired....have a great night All!

Grateful to recognize my insecurity and vulnerability about where I stand with my job.

Grateful not to hold this in and discussing it with a friend and him reminding me that we all have insecurity and feel vulnerable.

Grateful that as a result of honestly discussing this as well as going to a meeting tonight and leading a table, I can have somewhat of a peace of mind.

Grateful that I won't have a drink even though I am struggling right. I have almost 3 mos in and had a tough day and have a lot of pain, but I won't take a drink.
Grateful for SR and for the great threads by people telling me why I shouldn't. Grateful that I believe it because I've been sober enough to know better. Grateful that I'm learning from my friends mistakes. Grateful this too shall pass.

Grateful for my new-to-me grocery store. Its big and quiet and clean.
Grateful for a little eaterie across the lake that serves all homecooked food with tables by the window by the lake.
Grateful for my new town which has much less pollution than the old one.
Grateful to give in to my exhaustion today. Maybe if I rest, my body won't get sick just to get attention.

I am Grateful that I recognize depression as a medical illness
and NOT like in the past that I was to blame --
that I was doing something wrong in recovery --

I am Grateful I attended my home group and spent some time with my sponsor.

I am Grateful my life is fairly routine....

Grateful to you all SR members...have a great night....and day

Well, OK, then. : ( Last night I made pork satay and stir-fried veggies and rice. How's that?

Grateful I didn't freak out when my therapist had to cancel our session this morning last minute. I'm only seeing him once a month now and I was really looking forward to this visit. Glad I know I can wait today.

And grateful I can watch CBS shows (Criminal Minds, C.S.I.) the next day without paying for Hulu+.

I'm also enjoying the Paranormal Activity series of movies. i find them pretty scary.

Grateful for being tired from working. It's been a long time. Not a great situation, but grateful none the less.
Grateful to read all these posts. I learn so much and really have so much gratitude.

Grateful my dentist decided not to do a Root Canal today. Said my home care has helped.

Grateful I received a call from my Daughter who lives with her family in Latvia. Miss her so much and her hubby and wonderful Grandkids.

Grateful for many friends and family who call to check on me.

Grateful every day for HP who helps to clear my head. This site is awesome as well and so happy to be here.

Grateful to give in and go to bed when I am this tired even if it's early. Tomorrow will be easier and I'll work better too after a good long sleep.
Grateful for a weekend coming up.
Grateful for a purring cat hanging over my shoulder as I type.

My brother used to wander around with one of kitties he rescued in Palma de Mallorca on his shoulders. I don't know how he lives without any cats now.

Grateful for getting new glasses that'll make me look like Garcia on Criminal Minds, pink & sparkly with leopard spots!

And grateful for re-connecting with a friend who was in crisis this time last year and whom I helped get to treatment. Glad I asked her to go to NA with me since I have been having trouble going myself and I really WANT & need to share my gratitude.
