Grateful to have a home today. It is very windy out there and my heart goes out to all the folks who live in the Tent Cities and outside many of whom are in active addiction.

Grateful that I stood through the fire at the start of my day and kept sober.

Grateful that my Amazon order came.

Grateful for chamomile tea before bedtime.

Grateful for the soft snores of my 3 year old son and his mini Froto Baggins feet to kick me in the back tonight.

Thanks, RZ! Unfortunately, I think that pumpkin gets a lot of its distinctive flavor from the orange pigment/Vitamin A, so I doubt my white jack o' lantern would make good pie. I don't know what to do with it, so, for now, I have an alien head in my fridge. teehee.

Grateful for a "revelation" about why I probably actually do owe a certain ex-boyfriend amends. I thought all the "harm" was from him, but as I thought about it, I realized that I signed up for it! I pushed him into a corner. So glad for Step Four helping me realize MY part.

And grateful for the minister speaking this morning about something I was already thinking about on my way to Unity. Amazing how that happens. It was another 4th Step issue. Glad I am open to seeing and hearing such connections.

L&H,
Eddie

Grateful today my tow was covered by AAA, and that Firestone is open on Sundays and took a look and called.

Grateful my brother insisted on loaning me their 2nd car to commute to work tomorrow and insists on helping me pick up my car when it is repaired. (Normally I would have to pay Enterprise to do this.)

Grateful he lives ten minutes away from me now, and he has made it clear that, this, in his view, is what family does for each other.

Just really, really, lucky to have been given him for my brother.

AND grateful I saw a beaver today in my back yard near the lake!

Grateful for the current feeling of normalcy.

Grateful for keeping true to all commitments this past week. (Would have broken every single one if I was drinking)

Grateful that prayer and affirmations work.

Grateful for our Urban Fishing Program. It was nice to drive 15 minutes and put my feet up with a worm and bobber in the water.

I second that and am praying for those folks. I don't really have a home, but am grateful for a warm place to be able to stay. Grateful my sister, although very critically ill from alcoholism, is making it through detox. Grateful her husband is seeing about getting her to rehab.

Ditto. Except I'm glad I have GAS in the car. teehee ; )

Grateful for showing a new friend around one of my favorite very local walking places.

And grateful I didn't have a cow when I got the paperwork in the mail today for a medical review for my driver's license. I was having one every two years for a while, but the last one they said I didn't have to continue, and now they're asking for it again. Grrr. Glad I'm just a bit annoyed and that I happen to have an appointment tomorrow at which I can get this taken care of.
