Hey, The Black is back..... yay.
Hope you're doing OK. Me, still the aussie (deliberate lower case) battler. That's what we call people here who struggle but continue to bat......an aussie battler.
Missed all of your music and stuff. Great back-up....now check Bob.

Well, have decided to get off my skinny little arse and do something abou my miserable little life.
Just joined the local community health centre's gym which only costs $50 per month. Used to do gymnastics when young and am looking forward. The woman meet for coffee following, so maybe make some new friends. Seems funny that I will be meeting people for coffee rather than the pub. Wow, do people really do that?
My mood seems to have shifted with the simple act of joining. Start next Friday.
I'm thinking hot pink Lycra.
Found a good fish shop where I can buy Whiting for about $4 kg. Fruit and veg are pretty cheap so up ya go Glenda.
Trip to Little Bay (beautiful) planned and will hit the briny as well as hone my photographic skills. Expect pics.
Hope everyone is doing well. That stands for you too Blacky, no slacking.

exercise and good eating has vastly improved my mood and helped along my sobriety. The music both you and Blacky have shared has moved me to relook at music I just didn't truly appreciate before during my 30 year benzo/booze slumber. Thank you.
So many music genres out there graced, many I had forgotten myself. I can't believe I remembered "Hallelujah I'm a Bum", a song written during the Great Depression. I wasn't alive during the Depression Blacky got me back into music too.
We all have our own ways of getting sober, music and mucking around being two of mine. Outside of that I believe I'm a very thoughtful person. I thank you again.
I'm glad you have awoken from your slumber.

Just posted but it seems to have been zapped.
Thank you graced your post helped enormously as was feeling very isolated. Amazing what the hand of friendship can achieve.

So glad you have awoken from your slumber. I seem to doze off and on haha but still sober, and that's the main thing. Thanks again graced.

yes! at times I feel very isolated too. Living way out in the woods can be comforting and serene. Yet it can also be quite lonely and apart. Music brings me to the moment and eases some of the tension that my body is generating as I wake up. Not easy to wake up to yourself sometimes. Your words and shares are very thoughtful and intelligent!
Thank you graced, and what a great avatar you have, and not until this morning did I expand the Bob Marley quote to make it even better. Strength - hope I can do justice to my username. If I called in a metallurgist I'm sure a few stress fractures would be found but so far the old tub seems to be still on course. Hope same for you.
It does get lonely graced even with the romance and serenity of the woods. Sorta like rainforests being seen as beautiful until the mosquitoes arrive at night. All is not as it may seem and as you say hard to wake up.
It has been lovely to meet you graced, your username is entirely appropriate.
Now where's that Bob Marley album.....

Yay! Being a gal, that is.
I remember being slumped over the juke-box in the pub listening to it as well as Buffalo Soldier. Great to know that we can enjoy music in the absence of alcohol and pills, etc. What a breakthrough.
