I'm living Benzo free Part 4
Those aircraft are very impressive and hate to use the term Tomcat because it reminds me of Tom Cruise. Landing on an aircraft carrier would be heart stopping, that takes nerve. The MiG was a lot older wasn't it?
Wish they'd all stick to aerobatics and I'd be happy as Larry. Which inspires me to find that song "Hats off to Larry", the name of the bloke with whom my brother has made friends. Matt and Larry sharing smokes.
He rang me this morning and wants me to send him more tobacco, so he can't be doing too bad.

You are really talented Blacky. Now I find you're an architect/draftsman.
Having worked as a printer I really dig sign writing. Everything has to be lined up (in registration), square, solid, and then of course there's the paper. They reckon the ink gets into your blood - old printers never die.
When I was working I used fairly complex computer systems but have never had to post pictures/videos, social media stuff, or join YouTube. I can see its benefits now.
Check this.....I haven't listened to it yet but the thought makes me laugh.

.. Here is one of my slap together videos .. but the music I actually produced and used a DAW (digital audio ware) which I have but have become just point and record now usually .. I should really get back into it .. but it has become so complex that I need study it and have to read stuff and etc. .. I am lazy that way .. I mean I am not gonna make any money playing guitar or writing music ..
I play for me .. and IDK .. maybe if I were to get my head back semi-right ..

"All I hear is old men grinding axes" - Billy Bragg
I thought it was a sickle (steely the agrarian) and don't really know how to do it properly. I thought I could grind the rust back with light oil and a file or heavy duty sand paper, or something. I want to see good steel, honed. It's all experimental.
We're all going to get there Blacky through hook or by crook. Keep it simple is my motto at the moment. Tired of stress.

Q&a is a really good current affairs programme here on our National Broadcaster the ABC, and whose funding is being slashed by conservative government.
I listen to ABC radio at night and they don't even have decent chairs in the studio. They give away prizes like a free gardening magazine or something. That's if you answer the 25th question in The Quiz. There's an American bloke who enters the Quiz all the time. Sorta got to know him.

Just went back and read your post on going to a meeting Blacky. You broke the ice.....far out.
Alcohol is my nemesis too and like you have been sober for years at a time and fallen off. If I haven't got it by now........fair dinkum.
I am really happy for you, and you like the meeting......that's the best bit.

Blacky, I'm glad you made it to an AA meeting. We all have that hope freely available to us. I'm 52, and I'll never give up at having the best life God offers to me.
Got my sling blade out last night and realised straight away that what I needed was a whetstone and unbelievably I happen to have one in my tool box.
Or, I could always use this, below. I reckon it would work if I kept the wheel moist and stuff. Whetstone would be easier 'cause I could work on it from my lap.
