Blacky, I won't even throw the names of the four that I tried out there. 2 helped, 2 didn't. My suggestion is to see a prescriber and work closely with them to find one that works for you. My experience is that it took a long time to settle down with one that helped, I couldn't get the immediate relief I was hoping for. It was worth the commitment though, after a year of being on one I tapered off and haven't needed anything other than my recovery program and God since then.

Just dropping into say hi and that I am benzo free for 70 days now. Benzos were my drug of choice and I try to avoid talking about them so that I don't find myself wanting them. I am alcoholic too, so I just focus on that. But my recovery plan is all about self awareness, so I decided to stop in this thread and say hi.
