,, Now I am gonna tell y'all .. I went to my first AA meeting in like years ..

.. It was in a psych hospital .. had to wear a visitor badge and we were locked in .. I found when I asked to use the rest room .. another guy said here I will show ya ..

.. He had to call a number on the wall phone to have unlock the door so I could get a key and then go down the hall ..

.. of course this is nothing new to me .. except I drove up there I am not committed to the place .. it was a small group .. that I actually liked .. I opened right up after the guy asked about newcomers or those in their first 30 days etc.

.. I said .. my fist AA meeting I was 15 .. now I am 51 .. and then laid ot my legal **** and said that I have been clean for years at times and then fell off ..

.. I said what I have discerned is .. I need to be held account and I need support .. because I have failed doing this alone .. I have been reluctant to get close or invite anyone to get into my life .. this has been my downfall ..

.. so .. the meeting went well ..

.. I cheated though .. but it let me set foot in the door ..

.. half or so a norco .. yeah I know it ain't cool ..

.. but I broke the ice and went .. now I know the people that
run the meeting and need not have any apprehension of going again tomorrow
night completely sober .. maybe .. cause I got legal chemicals ..
but the alcohol though is my grim reaper .. A#1

So what I am saying is .. fake it .. till ya make it .. I broke the ice like I said

.. I am not afraid anymore .. I got to set myself free of the alcohol and anything else that I don't medically need ..
