Inpatient is a terrific course of action. That will set you on the right course. And then I really believe you can do this. I know it, in fact. You’re smart, determined, and focused. This will be the time it clicks. You have to believe that. You must. Believing it is such a big part of the battle. Maybe everything.
I'm proud of you, too. That is brave and decisive. If this last run got you to the point of getting some deep help, then so be it. Who's counting. My brother once said to me, after I told him I've tried to quit 5,000 times, so why should I try again... "cuz maybe you just need 5,001."
You're okay, O. It's okay. Nothing catastrophic has happened. And that's a good time to stop.

I seem to have missed some things but just wanted to apologize if my last post was harsh or offensive, I was skimming yesterday and only read the part where you said you were still drinking.. didn’t see the part where you said you’d stop in time for therapy.
I should have read more thoroughly, and didn't mean to imply ahead of time you couldn't or wouldn't do it. I believe in you O and I’m glad you’re getting some help. Check in if you can..

Wise choice O.
I’m sorry my post was offensive to you as well.
Wishing you the best outcome.
I have tons of people telling me to go to therapy and take meds right now; I’m getting armchair diagnosed with depression when in fact I am grieving, but also wondering myself if a recovery based program would help me best, thinking seriously about AA. your 28 days will do the same. Total alcohol recovery immersion.
Take care.

Good luck with it, O. Surely it's only a matter of time before you get it nailed. Seems to me the most important thing is the continued commitment to get better. Well, that's what I'm telling myself anyway!! I read quite an amusing book recently which described in detail impatient rehab. Called "Dry" by Augusten Burroughs. Great book and awesome narration on audible. Worth a look if the subject matter isn't too triggering.
