It's clear to me you need more support than what you're getting leshar - a criss line or the ER sound like good options for you to me.

and, as your friend & an outspoken aussie, I really hope you get another Doctor.

This one is ****.

a criss line
sorry - typo.

Peter Criss seems like a nice guy, but I think a crisis line would be better Leshar

I hope you'll check in soon

Hello all,

Thanks for the messages and support. Please keep me in your prayers. Praying minute by minute is how I'm getting through. I heard back from my doctor. He said to try this tranquilizer and that if I didn't get some ease, he would admit me. It knocked me out, but did quell some of the awful anxiety. I'm horribly sweaty and quite groggy, but not as desperate as I had been. My doc said to keep emailing him. It's not easy to find another psych by the way. I have got to keep some fight going to get thru. Please pray for me.
I see ending one's own life seems like a "way out" for some, but I will never do that. Suicidal ideation is a symptom of an illness, and for me, I know I just need better treatment, and I will go on as best I can, perhaps that's my lot in life?

I do appreciate this group, and I will go to the hospital if I can't manage over the weekend.
I hope you all have a good weekend and are enjoying good weather.
I wish I thought better of myself.

Hi Snoozy, Croissant, Bob, Dee, Leshar and everyone else!!
Doing very well, thanks. We welcomed a new little grandson into the family in June (our 4th); he is a little doll, a real sweetie.

Hello everyoneeeee :-)

Hiya Leigh , lovely to hear from you , you beat me by 2 grandkids lol xx

Ladybuggggg hiya sweetie I'm so happy to hear you are 30 weeks . All smooth sailing from now on in lovely xx

Glad you're having nice weather Bob , so are we ...even got a little 2 nice for me on the weekend . We got to 30 , i said to one of the patients " this damn hot weather , I'm so over it ! " we had a good chuckle

Well kiddos I'm 15 months now and i gotta tell ya , the last 3 days has been really strange for me . I've been fantasising about having a drink and thinking of how lovely it would be on a warm night with a BBQ . Then i felt a little sad i can never do that again.

Today i was cleaning out the shed and thinking how good it would be if i could have wine like i used to when i did a clean out . Sigh ......

I'm not liking these thoughts , they are quite dangerous as I've had a few drinking dreams lately too , so it's obviously on my mind a lot .

I dreamt i got absolutely smashed the other day and woke up hungover ...i was sneaking drinks .....sigh.....need more kitten time methinks !

Ralph is a character i love him to bits , he's getting more confident and naughty !

He climbs up Shaun's legs all the time and it makes me laugh ...until he climbed up mine with my thin work pants on ...... Holy moleyyyyyyyyy ouch ! That took the smile off my face

Xxx

Thanks all, thanks, Croissant.

I'm sorry you're feeling unsettled, Snoozy. I do understand. I wonder why I'm so ill and never felt this bad when drinking and wonder what it's all about anyway? But I have to have faith and carry on, and you will too. Thinking of you.

Snooz....you mentioned you were having a hard time a few weeks ago too.

What was the outcome with all your tests that were a bit off?

I hate to hear of you and Leshar struggling so. You've bothe been so joyous at times, so I can only imagine how pissed off you both feel.

Whatever the problems are, drinking won't help....they don't even give you any real time out. When I slipped, I always knew, even as I was putting the glass to my mouth, it wasn't taking away the pain. Drank more. No pain erased. Then it just became frustration. No relief comes at all anymore from drinking. It ain't no cozy beer at a BBQ.

You both know that. Plus...it's a depressant....the very least thing you both need, my lovelies.

Big hugs.xx

I hope you guys can see through the romantic BS our addiction can produce...

I've been fantasising about having a drink and thinking of how lovely it would be on a warm night with a BBQ .
did you ever drink like that tho Snooz? I sure as heck didn't.
It was never that genteel for me ever.

I'm glad you're still with us Leshar. I'm sorry you're so ill.

Well, life seems to be pretty bumpy these days.
I'm falling into a rut of staying up late and sleeping late. To boot I'm one of the few to get audited from unemployment. On top of that my bank sends me a letter informing that my debit card account might be breached. New card and stuff has been sent. This all piled up with the usual repairs and BS sure makes smiling a little tough these days.
