It's so good to see the regulars and now the new comers every morning. It is such a comfort to know we don't travel this road alone.

Sugarbear, good for you. Hang in there and distract yourself. The days go by quickly and just know we are with you in spirit.

Good luck SB and anyone trying to quit. It's tough!

It may sound odd, but a bit of sugar every so often, all day long, helped me a lot. A few pieces of cereal, or a few sips of juice were my favorite choices.

Small but steady dopamine releases is what that accomplished for me. Either that, or placebo affect. Only tried it once.

The monetary savings in not smoking are only exceeded by the health benefits, which include psychologically feeling much better about ourselves!

Ah been a while since I last posted here. Well, I did go back to smoking a boozing again, to my considerable regret.

Anyway, I've stopped that now. Today is day 23 since I last had a cigarette.
