There we go then. Another week of no smoking whatsoever. So that's 42 consecutive days off the fags and about 46 off the drink, I think.

Haven't checked in for awhile... I will have 11 months smoke free in a week!

That is just crazy! lol

These last few weeks have really put me to the test. I know of 2 times, one being yesterday and the other 2 weeks ago where I could have thrown it all away because of what I was dealing with and I snapped the hell out of it and did not go there. This is the longest I've been smoke free since I started over 20 something years ago.

I know I've said many times to self. Self. Look at you! You have done so well with yourself and you feel so much better don't you?! And I say, Yes I do! I'm so glad I quit smoking! I haven't coughed, caught my breath by just having a conversation or made myself sick with my nasty breath in months! I don't wake up and want a smoke. I eat and don't want a smoke. I drive and don't want a smoke. It all feels so good, especially now that when I'm outside, I can smell the Fall crispness in the air and it's not masked by SMOKE! I can smell my granddaughter when she rushes past me. The smell of coffee in the pot... It's got a smell all it's own to a non smoker.

Y'all give me hope. In a few hours I will have 7 days smoke free. I came close to failing but I told myself NO! NO! NO! No more smoking!!

I'd say it was one of the hardest and best decisions of my life! I don't regret it at all and wish I'd of done it sooner!
