24-Hour NO Nicotine/Smoking Club - Part 3
I am in for another day.
Took a long run earlier this afternoon.
It was nice to run in daylight, it is late afternoon now and dark.
The day has gained 3 minutes but the sun does still go down before 4pm. It will gain slowly the next month.

We have around 7 hours daylight here, I grew up further north – there is less than 4 hours daylight up there now. I have mixed emotion regarding this on the one hand I do not like the dark on the other hand I do like the change in seasons and dusk periods in the north. I should be used to the dark periods by now.
I manage if I keep on exercising outside.
Well if I had the opportunity to move to the Alps or the Pyrenees I would probably do that; to a some place in southern France with no snow ever - I am not sure I would do that.
No smoking for me today, it is 80 days today
I will celebrate that with a run.

Forget about any slips folks. More important is time smoke free, and a positive attitude to keep tackling the problem. All of us are essentially always, only one day away from a drink or a drug.........
Milealc..I am across the channel in the UK! I went for a lovely long walk today across the South Downs then to a pub lunch just before the kitchen closed. Steak and Stilton pie for me..those of you around the world may not know the wonderful pleasures of a day like this! I would have been huffing and puffing up those hills and wondering when I could get my next nicotine fix..instead I really enjoyed the day, saw the most breathtaking views and didn't think once about nicotine...wonderful! Im in for another 24 hours x
I hope your leg is better wisc, nice seeing you
Well done Martina.
I have been a little shaken today. It is not urges that are bothering me it is more that I am unfocused, I have difficulty in concentrating and getting the things done.
