Good to see you itsmaria! Well done on becoming an HS foster, needed more than ever I think.

Cool story MesaMan! I was trying to count how many people are in the band on that track. I lost count in double figures.

Koala, I'm really impressed that you can play that. Hats off to you.

CK, how cool that you can play that!! I used to sing around too. I had my own boy band who had to do girl back ups for me sometimes. But I would love to meet and jam with you sometime, if you ever come to CA or where ever I'm going next. How very awesome. Keep playing...which you probably still do.
Thank you, MesaMan!

Hey Canadian ~

I knew Mark through renting Firefall P.A. Gear for Rehearsals, and being a back-up Sound Guy.

Here's a straight-up Interview with him that tells it like it actually is re: the Music Scene. Mark's an even-keeled Survivor vs. others who didn't make it out alive...

Good morning Weekenders

It's a lovely day outside and a sober Saturday too. A healthy combination that means I'll be going for a nice walk this morning. Home for midday as my favourite football team are playing and the match is live on TV.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Thanks MesaMan, I enjoyed reading this very good interview with Mark Endes.
This man has been playing with so many talented musicians. 10 years bassman with Heart is something...

It will be a great day in here and my charcoal grill will be used for the first time in 2022.
Boy! I love springtime weekends without hangovers!

Have a good day Weekenders ☼

Robbie, Newcastle United and Liverpool are on here this morning.

Itmaria, making the dedication to being a foster home for pets is a noble endeavor. I'm afraid I would become too attached to them though, and would soon just have 10 dogs living with me.

Marty, sending prayers about your dog. It’s terrible when they are ill.

Great posts, everyone. Hang in there, Sam

Thanks everyone. The fostering seemed like a good idea bc I'm not ready for my own pet right now (mine went across the rainbow bridge last year). So fostering seemed like a good compromise. I'm still working through the courses but will keep you updated- I'm hoping to start with cats and maybe foster a dog later on.

Cityboy- lol. Yes I was told there are a lot of foster 'fails' where the foster parent ends up adopting. I'm hoping to foster a few before any adoptions but we'll see how my heart goes!

Seems like a lot of musical people here. I'm not musical at all but once in a therapy program we had a regular singing group and I really liked it.

Robbie your day sounds much like mine- walk and chores and then baseball today. Jays are doing pretty well.

I'm still struggling emotionally but I feel slightly more grounded then yesterday. It is a long day for me so I may check in again later.

Hope everyone is well.

Good for you Maria, very kind of you and I know how much they need foster homes in the world of saving animals. Wonderful for you.

Thank you I love Roy Orbison I'll take a close look at that California coast one. I'll be in the Bay Area, but not on the coast.
