LOL!
It's true though, the Flintstones had a dinosaur (Dino) and the Rubbles had a saber-toothed tiger who's name I have forgotten.

Morning WeekendersÂ

After seeing Saou’s pic of the bench plaque I ended  up looking for similar ones on the internet yesterday. Most was the norm but there were one or two different ones.

Great photos MesaMan and Leigh

It’s a pleasant sunny day out there. When everything gets back to its new normal I don’t think I’ll ever take for granted going for a walk round the park or going for a drive.

Take care. xx

Good morning Weekender's and a happy Sunday to you all. It's forecast to be sunny here today but there's no sign of any sun at the moment, it's rather grey and gloomy and a bit cold too. I loved the pic of 'dinner on the sand dunes.' Mr D.B and myself are thinking about going out for dinner today, there's this place we know, we've been there a few times lately and it's quite low key, you don't have to dress up or anything, the food can be a bit hit and miss sometimes but on the whole it's not too bad. The place is called Ourgate and we don't even have to drive there.

Loving the music Vman, thank you.

Aww I remember the Flintstones, Fred and Barney and Wilma and Betty. Pebbles too, I can't remember the other names at the minute though.

I'll join you for a coffee M.B, I'm just going to put the kettle on.

Morning Mags, when things get back to normal, I don't think we'll take anything for granted, ever again.

Love to you all

Stay home and keep safe.

Bam Bam was the Rubbles little boy Happy Sunday everyone. It’s a holiday Monday here tomorrow, but most days have been blending into one another lately. I am enjoying the lovely weather, so will go for a nice beach walk again tomorrow

Wasn't the cat/saber-tooth tiger in Flintstones Little Puss, or something like that? (I googled that yesterday)

Daisy, where do you live that you can just go to a restaurant? Or maybe in UK they aren't closed. We have been locked down since March 16, and it was just extended to the end of May.

Yes, please tell us. On a television series the other night a couple sat down for dinner in a posh (that word again) restaurant and painstakingly browsed the extensive menu, finding it difficult to decide. It got me triggered as you would not believe!
Doing some gardening on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Planned on digging three decent planting holes but one already seems to have me beaten.

I think I had my exercise for the day - freed from the confines of its container for the past 10 years (not without having put up a thorny fight)-

and into a much more agreeable home

Hope these do not come out upside down as has been happening to me of late.

Captain, are you using an iPhone? Mine does that too unless I use the side button to snap the image.

You can Google for the fix for that.

I repotted a couple indoor plants yesterday too. Not sure they'll make it, since I didn't buy new soil.

We've just had a short but furious thunderstorm.
I was standing on the balcony enjoying the weather and out of sudden lightning came immediately followed by a thunderbolt so loud I thought I had gone deaf.
And I've found this for my Sunday night relaxation

Thanks a lot, Sao! And with that I appoint you as language editor in relation to all my posts going forward. Sometimes I feel I lag behind you Brits, Yanks and Aussies when it comes to expressing myself crisply in English.

Bam Bam, that's it, thanks Willow.

Aww Bimini, we are on lockdown here in the U.K too, nowhere is open. I was joking, when I said we were going to Ourgate, I meant to our gate, as in our own front gate. I'm sorry I confused you, in the U.K if we haven't been anywhere, we say as a joke, 'we went to Ourgate.'

I'm sorry I confused you too Captain Haddock, I can't remember the last time I went to any kind of a restaurant, let alone a posh one, lol. Your plant looks nice and healthy, I've done a bit of re-planting myself this week. Digging can be hard work.

I love watching a good storm Midnight, from a safe distance. Sleep well.

I'm off for a relaxing bath now, so I'll say goodnight too. Have a good night weekenders.

Stay home and keep safe. xxx
