Watched the beautiful “pink” moon rise this evening and just saw the ISS fly over. What beautiful sights in the night sky.

Love the support here. We will see each other through.

Love to all

Morning Weekenders 🐸

Got up pretty early before 05h00.
Becoming too hooked on following covid.

I try to avoid screens (mobile, tablet, tv...) during the day but it's not easy.

I decided to do a repair job yesterday that I had been putting off. Ended up making things worse and breaking the bloody thing completely. Now I will have to order parts. Ah well...

There are photos of the pink moon on the papers this morning. It looked fantastic. I think it's what they call the super moon.

"A supermoon happens when the full moon coincides with the moon's closest approach to Earth in its orbit."

My wife is sensitive to the lunar calendar and often feels out of sorts in or around a full moon. I don't know really know what to think. I remember having a friend once that had to have the bed pointing in a certain direction (head south I think) I thought she was nuts.
(say's the alcoholic)
✌️😁👍

Anyways stay on track folks.

Later weekenders

EndgameNYC posted this in another thread.
I take the liberty to share it because I found it very fitting :

"There are things that are worse than feeling so helpless; knowing that doesn’t help me in this or any other moment. Like everyone else, I’ve never been here before.

For everyone who drank so much and who caused so much damage from your drinking that you eventually had to stop, you know what it is to keep on moving through all the pain, the uncertainty, and the fear. And, if we’re lucky when to rest.

And what a great time to start taking better care of ourselves and others. It’s not like my calendar is full."

Morning Weekenders

Vinny, I’ve heard about the bed pointing in in a certain direction. I guess if it helps one sleep better and feel better?

Couldn’t see the moon, cloud cover last night and this morning.

I’m getting a drive out tomorrow. Woohooo. Legally. Woohooo. Hospital appointment. Woohoo. Well not relishing going in the hospital but I’ll be armed with my asthma mask, surgical gloves and antibacterial gel. They was hoping to arrange a nurse home visit for my injections but I’ve not heard anything yet and instructions are to keep my appointment if no news.

So I found myself making a plan of how to get to the day centre on first floor safely when I arrived at the hospital. My daydreaming came to the fore.

It’ll be like a scene from the pink panther, (in my head anyway, )stealthily creeping in the hospital, take the stairs (too many germs in the lift) (plus you remember the scene in the lift in pink panther! it’s only one floor, about 40 steps. I can crawl up them if I have to. (Don’t touch your face magsie!) so much to remember!
Though I may be puffing and panting by the time I get to the top of the stairs, but don't show distress and for goodness sake....don’t cough!
So I’ve made it to the day centre. Use their hand sanitiser even though I’ve got my own....just so they know I’m keeping my hands clean.
Phew I made it safely.....now how the heck do I get out.

Just need my pink panther suit and I’m ready to go tomorrow morning.

Take care and stay safe .....please ❤️ xxxx

Morning Weekenders, It is the Buddha's birthday in some parts of the world. I had to think what day it is as they all seem the same now.

I noticed the Moon last night, it seemed to have a rainbow coloured halo round it.

Good luck at the hospital Mags, perhaps afterwards you could sneak a short walk somewhere quiet.

morning all. I saw the moon last night too - it was pretty clear here, just a few wispy backlit clouds. plays havoc with my Lycanthropy though.

Sao - I see London pigeons are getting their natural colour back with the reduced pollution:

Morning, weekenders!

I didn't see the moon yesterday, so thank you all for sharing)

Venus - Are those UFOs viloating self-isolation rules?

Sao - The pic is hilarious.

Andy - You have some fancy pigeons there)

I shamelessly overslept and still sitting here with coffee and doing nothing.

Need to get out under some pretext to get myself in a more productive mood.

See you)

I donated to the Salvo's domestic violence homeless Easter appeal (I was homeless, they saved me in so many ways)

Time to ensure I was not Corona-ifed- 60m

that I was not carrying diseases- 30m of digital paperwork and blood tests/pressure

time to give just under 1L of blood- 9m.

the nurse was fascinated by me explaining I was an alcoholic in recovery- always, not recovered.

Thinking of you, MantaLady.

So today I decided that watching / reading any COVID related anything has only served to stress me out and bring me down. I have not turned on the TV today or listened to the radio. Instead I put some music on in the background while I am working. The difference in the way I feel is huge, it’s so easy to get sucked into all the coverage which has become an addiction in itself. Just as destructive to my wellbeing as drinking.

So, Manta kitten has a bit of a windy bottom problem. He trumps when he is scared, or when he is excited or if the day has a “y” in it. Last night he got on the bed while I was half asleep and I moved which surprised him and I heard him do a little fart. I giggled and went back to sleep. Bless his little cotton socks I thought. Well got up this morning and it became very apparent that he’d “followed through” whilst trumping and my duvet has kitten crap all over it. I’d rather have a duvet covered in kitten poop than a hangover though! x

Uranus is bigger than Mars.

Well done on giving blood PJ, I wonder if hospitals are getting their regular donations of it? I don't suppose that the can be.

That T-shirt idea is a great one!

Hopefully Manta kitten's bottom disturbances are only temporary. Maybe he was trying to save on toilet paper.

Lol! Either that or the bird seed is from Chernobyl.

It's another gorgeous day here - torture.

Here's another good, easy no-sew tee shirt mask that isn't so female oriented. Just scissors and a short sleeve Tee:
