Tasty, I think you’ve summed Alexa up! I played many oldies when she arrive, and use her as a timer, and make announcements. She can be very helpful.

Bim, will you or can I share the eagles with the whiners, please? I’m sure they’ll all love them.

Go ahead, Mags. I think I got them from Dandylion in F & F. Whiners may know about them already.

Hatch Watch.

From their forum...image of the two eggs yesterday: https://forum.hancockwildlife.org/do...ff9c&mode=view

thanks Bim!

Marty it is exciting.

If the timing is right I need to be up at 3 to watch the first one hatch.

It’s cold enough to freeze and dark but the sky is fascinating

Mags, it will happen when it happens... That's why there are hundreds of people with their guesses in the betting pool on the chat. Whoever gets closest gets a stash of eagle bling. I figure I'll see the fluffballs when I see them.

Hi, vMan and MLD.

I think for now I can live without an Alexa. I rarely listen to music or cook for that matter.

I managed to get a Dr's appointment today. She has referred me to hospital for a scan which will be sometime in the next couple of weeks. All a bit worrying.

Look forward to seeing some eagle chicks. A long time ago I had an aviary in my garden with budgies and cockatiels which often had chicks. It was a nice hobby.

Looks like a very stormy sky Mags.

Good luck Eagle chicks!

Thanks for the tune VMan, it's been a while since I heard Gomez. I hope mini V's dental appt was OK.

Mags it seems as though Ellie Goulding was one of a number of people who stopped - I first heard it on a local radio station. The accident occured on the west side of town (the expensive side)

I hadn't listened to music for many years....until I bought Alexa.

I can't wait to see the Eagle Hatchlings!

Good luck to the eagle chickies.

Ive been contemplating getting an Alexa or echo dot for a while now.
Im kinda like Sao, a bit paranoid with the spying thing, dunno why? Theres nothing exciting to spy on here , or perhaps could have caught the new pup having a crap on the carpet

:-)

Who is Alexa and why aren't you guys using an iPhone and Mac? I thought that was required for this website.

Well just finished the bulk of my last big push at work before my break. The break is only a partial "break" in that deferred projects and prep for the next round of work in January will still have to happen, but I plan at least a few days to drool in the corner and rest my weary mind.

But now to bed. . . .

Night Hawkeye

Dragon, interesting stuff on the brain surgery. I’m pleased it didn’t have to come to that for me.

Bim, I see what you mean about the eagle eggs. They’ll hatch when they hatch.

Snoozy, I listened to Beatrix Potter last night with Alexa. There’s lots of reminders you can set too, if you’re memory is like mine.

HeadEast, I wouldn’t be without my iPhone. But I’m quite taken with Alexa too.

Brain surgery is about as radical as it gets but it beats dying.

Hi all..

Pretty interesting reading Dragon.
In the article I found it hard to believe "never a falling down drunk" with an unquenchable thirst for whisky. Maybe I have a tendance to compare to myself. If im not mistaking 20 fl ounces is just under a regular 70cl bottle every night.

That was mad too that video of the truck and car. You would have thought thé driver would have felt the resistance or the drag.

Marty me too fan of gomez since the beginning. I love their style. Seen them live once in limerick ireland 2002...Unforgettable gig.

Have a great day weekenders

Vinny, you’d think a bottle of spirits would lead to falling over, comatose, but I do know my uncle drank a big bottle of rum easily a day and you wouldn’t know it. He didn’t stumble or fall or slur his words. I have no idea how? He was always so cheerful unless he didn’t have his booze, but never nasty. He died of cancer a few years ago sadly.

I was drinking a 70cl bottle of vodka everyday. Your body gets use to it over time. If I tried to do it now after not drinking for over a year it would be a different story, potentially it would kill me.
