I know I have everyone's prayers and love, and that helps me a lot.

So very sorry to hear least. Pets are such beautiful and giving souls, they fill our lives with much joy and love. Grieving is a way of honoring all they meant to you and how much love you have for them.
Rest in peace Jack, he will wait for you at the Rainbow Bridge.xx

I've been in denial that he's gone but now I have his ashes and can't deny it any more. I miss you, my sweet old man, and will see you again someday.

That happened to me when a relative I had helped care for passed this past spring. It was like a shock type feeling, then numbness, then reality when I picked up her ashes. It does help in the moving forward thing though.

OMG! I don't know how I missed this thread, Least- I'm so sorry about Jack! I remember when he got lost and the miracle of him being found again. You gave him a wonderful life, of that I have no doubt. Honestly I don't think we deserve dogs...if we could only be half as good as we are in their eyes!

Smoke sent for Jack, Least.

Picking up the ashes is always so hard! Sorry, least. Glad you are here. Glad you have his ashes to remember him. His spirit will always be with you.
