it's cooled down to quite a pleasant temperature here now, thankfully.
hopefully Network Rail won't feel the need to be replacing track outside my (open) bedroom window tonight like they were doing last night

Morning all.
Its going to be a hot one. 34°c apparently.
The tour is passing near enough to my house today.
THis morning i thought damn work im going to see the tour.
But reason took over

Still pretty steamy in London. I dropped my car off in a neighbouring Borough called Islington this morning for an MOT or annual vehicle inspection test. It should be OK as I have only done 3,900 miles since last year. Islington feels a bit more chilled than my Borough (Hackney)

Try 98.4F and 85% humidity Trach! It’s so hot and humid here today I can’t take it lol. Had my shopping trip today where you get an hour out of rehab and can get some stuff but the staff keep your money and pay for you. I got a venti soy milk latte, extra hot with an extra shot and are now sat in my cold air con room drinking decent coffee and eating Scottish shortbread biscuits, I almost feel normal haha.

<rant>Woke up this morning still in a funk. I think it started with the 'poor me' feelings I had on Saturday about not be able to have a drink. As my thinking has been around not having a release for pentup stress and grumpyness. Played my Uke like a mad man last night which helped a bit. Part of the problem is all the 'junk' we've dumped in our house from the condo and Mrs. Dragon being 'too tired' to help go thru it. I'll catch heck if I were to donate away the wrong thing so I move stuff from one pile to another and grumble about it.</rant>
