I saw that too... I enjoyed watching it even though I know very little about the sport. (Typical American quality. )

With CTE issues in American Football, maybe this is the future? I always figured that less protection is better, not more, because you are less likely to lunge at a body with full aggression if you are unprotected. Just thinking out loud.

Today was another relatively easy day for me... kept plenty busy with meal planning, baseball, bills (of course), Hulu, and Netflix. I'm going for a quick walk just to quell a bit of the anxiety.

Welp, all the 'stuff' is finally out of the condo and most of it has been dealt with. Now there are only big items left. Dining room suite, entertainment center, bed room suite, office desk and shelving ect. And it's all high end stuff, meaning large solid wood and heavy pieces.

ugh, bad dream. Waking up feeling horribly hung over, staggering around in a strange hotel room. First thing I thought of was SR. Stayed in bed for another half hour while the feeling past. What a way to start a Monday morning.....

There is an eagle fledgling that is in the tree in front of my window. He/she is squawking for - I dunno what - food? His mama? The safety of the nest? It's either annoying, distressing, or cute. Not sure which.

Another weekend of sobriety in the books. I was on edge for a lot of it. No real reason, or all the reasons.

Didn't drink.

That goes in the win column.

Bald eagle. That's the only ones we have in Western WA.

What's an allegorical eagle?

Probably squawcking to be fed.
One of my favorite campsites in East GA is frequented by baldies. Get up in the morning and see one of those sizing you up is bracing. "Can I carry him off?" That's what they're thinking.

Yeah, the eagles are common here. I'm on a slow moving river. They fly over and the mama ducks WakWakWakWak!!!! all the little ones dive under. Good alarms. I know there's a raptor when I hear a particular tenor of Wak!!
