Splitting headache developed this morning. I tried to tough it out but took an ibuprofin and things got much better. Even my mood improved.

It's 4AM here on the left coast of the US, STDragon...

I am having coffee and trying to gather what thoughts I may have.

Headaches...if I try to tough those out I'm crankypants until it's gone...but then I had debilitating migraines for 25 years and I had to learn the "take the pill" lesson many hundreds of times.

I just spent a while reading some articles about how the temps have broken world records....everywhere. There is a place in Saudi where the lowest overnight minimum in July was 42.7C.....109F. Minimum.

We are lucky we are in first-world countries where we can cool off.

Dragon love.....if you hate taking meds (same here), please always try to hydrate with water when you get a headache....even that 'bad mood' feeling can be solely due to dehydration. I can often stop a headache from getting worse if I drink lots of water.

Having said that....I hear bim. It is so important to take care of ourselves, and that means not putting ourselves through crazy pain that is so very stressful....ibuprofen or other otc stuff that is ok for your body is important when there is a high level of pain....it is not good for our bodies to stay in heightened pain for all sorts of reasons.

SO much love darling Leigh. I am so very sorry that you are going through all of this... ♥♥♥

Love to everyone here.

How frightening for you. SO SO SO much love. I am so sorry I haven't called. Selfish....I have been busy with school.

Good morning/afternoon/evening and love and thanks to all.

Dragon, hope that headache stays at bay; please take care of your dear self.

The lesions are finally just beginning to scab over and, once they do, I will be able to cover them with bandages and leave the house in the daytime. Yippee!

I read back a ways and couldn’t find any news on MidnightBlue. Has anyone heard from her?

No. No one has. (that I am aware of).

And yey Leigh...that is good news. You are going to have to forget about sun tanning though I guess.

I'm glad things are healing Leigh.

I hope you feel better by now Dragon.

My boss is looking at sales conferences for me to attend, he always does that when it gets quiet in the summer months. Luckily it is also the quiet season for those too. I'm going to dig my heels in unless he wants to send me to one in France or Italy. Two years ago it was Lincolnshire.

I am worried about MB.

Venus - My daughter is going with me this time, thank goodness. She is a very very hard worker and we will get things done quickly. I'm really happy she can go. Her schedule is crazy and she's going to a lot of hassle to make this happen. She's going to be well rewarded for her trouble. I'm buying her a car after the apartment sells - used, of course, but she really needs one. My dad left her out of his will completely due to some petty imagined slight. He left my son enough money to pretty much pay for college. So not fair. So I'll do this for her happily.

Oh that's so lovely.....you are such a wonderful mum.

My cousin somehow got my auntie to change her will and not leave me anything....which doesn't matter except that we were best friends and she was always going to leave me money. She was very wealthy. It hurts that he manipulated her and got her to change her will. Long story....blech.

Definitely. Living here it is hard not to get sun but I wear SPF 70 all the time. All this damage was from teenage sunning.

Wow SPF 70....who knew that existed.

And I remember now that you told me this was from your teens....my bother in law and sister are going through similar in Aus.....years spent sunning when they were young.

I am glad you are going to be alright....must admit I got pretty scared when I heard chemo.
