Morning Gang. An old boss of mine has passed away. I'll be attending his prayer service this evening. His wishes were summer attire, no black suits. I'm expecting to see a few of the old gang. Gosh, this is going back over 20 years, It'll be interesting to see how we've changed.

Canadian Koala, I did not know you lived in Quebec. Never been there but it looks a beautiful city. One of my boyhood heroes - Gilles Villeneuve - is from Quebec.
OK I am stepping out for the football. An England game is usually something to be endured rather than savoured, even for the neutral as we do not play the most attractive football. No disrespect to Panama but I really don't wish to lose to a country named after a straw hat.

Dragon, I’m sorry for your loss, but I hope you and your old coworkers have a warm and pleasant reunion, even though not the best of circumstances.
I did it! I baked both cakes and got my morning shower, too!
But I think the haircut I got Friday is a dud! After I style it, it makes my head look like a box!
This lady is the best stylist I’ve ever had. I think I’ll go back to her the second she comes back from vacation to get this odd cut fixed!

She really really fetched like that too....every day of her life until she got sick. She was half Burmese...dog-like cats....she also demanded water in the bath (an inch or so) and she would get in and wash and drink.

Sounds like this is stressful for you being around all of these drinkers....please take care....I personally couldn't do it.

Football aside this has been a wonderful weekend my eldest daughter has finished all of her exams and at last we are spending quality time together. I'm beginning to believe we can repair the damage with consistent parenting, making positive choices and above all rock solid sobriety.

Vinny, I'd be pretty annoyed with I had to hang out with drinkers... It's good that you have an escape plan if it gets too much.
