It feels awful to thank a post where someone says they are hurting,....

Looking forward to NOT drinking. Looking forward to dinner with some friends tomorrow night after which I will be sober enough to read a bit before I fall into some beautiful sober sleep. Saturday will be a day to enjoy without nausea, headaches or self-hate. Signed up for a Tough Mudder in August, so going to start ramping up for that.
Sunday - hopefully get to see Black Panther with my son.

Thanks as always, Dee! Holding on tight for another sober weekend.....just need to get through Friday without an "f-it" moment after work....that seems to be my weak point. 
This reminds me of one of my favorite radio guys....people think he's a jerk because he sounds so angry all the time, but he's hilarious....this was one of his Alexa tweets:

Hello everyone, this week I have learnt, unfortunately that being sober will not solve all my life’s problems. But it is leaving me in a better place to try and improve them. Plans ready, let’s all enjoy a nice weekend!

I find signing up for them is huge - gives you this future date where you have to prepare/can have fun preparing - you can put energy and thought into that rather than other places. Which is important for me/us now.
