Yes! Thank you for asking 3legacy. My mother-in-law got lost on the Houston freeway and ended up at the airport instead of my home. She was a bit rattled but recovered nicely. We made the road trip to a beautiful wedding Thursday and just returned this evening.

Thank you for being concerned about me. Since I'm a newly recovering alcoholic, I'm happy to report that God extended the gift of sobriety to me during the festivities and I gladly accepted. I drank many cups of gourmet coffee instead. I found myself in many pleasant social situations that are not experienced when one is inebriated. And now I have fond memories of the event instead of regrets and embarrassment.
I didn't have access to a computer, so I really MISSED all of you and kept your sound advice forefront in my thoughts especially when the temptations presented themselves. Hugs to Angelina, Sher, Penny, and 3legacy. All of you are awesome and loved.
I'm for Vegas if anyone else wants to go.

Thanks for the cookies, Val. Happy Valentine's Day, fellow bus riders!!!! I'm so ready to go to Vegas and win some money. Heck, getting out of the cold is a big enough jackpot for me.

Hi everyone , sorry I'm late but it sounds like you all got started off on the right foot this AM......Thanks Val for your note and glad you are back with those who really care about you and what you do....Glad you had a good sober time at the wedding... :tongue3: Angelina really missed you and knows Vegas is out as kids are not allowed in the Slot Machine area....

Thanks for the coffee and cookies for breakfast......I brought some valentine cake Angelina helped decorate... Welcome to HJF .. New faces are good to see on this bus and I'm glad also that you left the garbage at the dump. 2dayz and Sher I missed you both last night.

If you want, I'll bring my pup Frisbee so Angelina can have a friend to play with while you're playing slots. I have to stay outside with him anyway as he's not trained yet. The nickel slots are by the doors. You can see us while you're playing. Say you'll go with us, PLEASE!
Sher and LeAnne are going to need help with food and you're excellent with the home-baked goodies. You know how 3 legacy likes it when the pantry's full. I'm not complaining either.
P.S. And I KNOW you want to show us the snapshots you just developed.

Val - I think the pup is a good Idea and Angelina is excited about it.....So we are coming on the bus with everyone.....Yea were going on a ride.

Sher and LeAnne-----I have lots of goodies for the food closet where do you want them? I have lots of home made cookies , variety of chocolates, sandwiches, lots of breakfast rolls and such , a variety of cold drinks [soda , juice and bottled water]........Thought this would make you both happy and everyone else......Also brought Chester my bear along with Angelina to ride on the bus with everyone.....Almost forgot Angelina brought lots of fresh fruit for the food closet as she knows it is always welcome....For a kid who is almost 5 she is pretty smart and likes to help.. I'm ready to take a seat and enjoy the trip today..........Thanks Everyone ....

I'm looking for some VALENTINE COOKIES any left? I also brought some HOT SANDWICHES for everyone as we picked up a variety ... from a place called: QUIZNO'S ...... :tongue3: ....Now I can really sit back and enjoy..

I can use an extra book to read and some help with recovery issues......Seems no matter how far you are in the program you still have trouble being patient.. Does anyone know an easy way to be patient?????? Hey...Sher - save some chocolates for me if you see any in the food closet.....Just hope we don't have mice on this bus as they could have their own picnic with our food.............
