Music Helps Sober Weekender Sept 2 Part 1
I'm not sure why some people feel that they have the right to comment on another person. Unfortunately I do have a serious face when I am not smiling. I was walking down the street thinking about all the things I have to do. In my own little world and bothering no one. Some loser shouted 'smile!' out the car window at me and touched his hand to his mouth. I wish I had said something back but I was just surprised.
Today's riddle... My slats average 1.3 inches, in order to avoid some hardware, I only have 29.5 inches to work with...
How many slats can I use and how far apart must they be spaced to have one on each end at the 29.5 width with an even space of at least 1.3 inches between them so there is perfect symmetry? I already figured it out...
Had I known I was going to do this, I would have put a string line down before I screw in the top to have a parallel/square area to work with and a wider area...
Adapting to changes... hmmmmmmm...

Hey everyone ! I always want to come in here and join in but I get intimated by the volume and the speed of the posting!
So I put on my big girl Walmart panties and am jumping in. I will see if I can keep up!

quiet here for a Saturday morning...
Waiting patiently for weasel to post some pics...
well, I have a couple... I can finally say it's done... I pre-drilled 77 oversized holes for the screws, just need to touch up paint and or put glue drops over them so water doesn't pool at the screw sites...

Welcome and I hope everyone who wants to join in knows we don't bite!!! I cannot keep up so don't try. Just take what works and leave the rest. Simple!
EDIT: I just read you prefer a bite. Yes... I am sure we can accommodate! Lots of zingers and fun here!

LB... I can design a integration API system but cannot do the simple math you asked for. Go figure. How the mind works!!!! You are amazing at everything I have seen you do.

At the expense of spamming the thread... I shall proceed...
My car got chickened.
Yes process that... Chickened.
I never park direct out of the building. I usually park away as a black shiny car attracts. Well.... I come out today and find a fully whole cooked battered fried chicken breast on the windshild of my car. Some little brat also wiped their greasy fingers on the hood. I live in a rather higher end complex that one would not expect this sort of thing. But then I considered.... Where the hell would I have to live to expect this sort of thing. I got angry at first. Then laughed.
I got chickened!!!!!

The answer is 11, do I win a prize?
Thanks Weasel. I totally get you. I program database applications in aerospace so I have been around the block with math. But I honestly have no clue what to do with my son's 3rd grade common core math. Not.A.Clue.
