Love me some AC/DC!!

The Grammys last year was an exceptional live performance, other artists and musicians were mesmerised and in awe!!

. . . also need to get me some of those light up horns!!

It's called selective amnesia! Remembering the good times and his good qualities and forgetting about the negative stuff. Gotta remind yourself of why you broke it off-

I agree with saoutchic Venecia. ...that woman shouldn't have been allowed to rent the scooter. I would file a report with the scooter company.
I hope your foot heals quickly. ..actually you are lucky it wasn't worse.
I hope you can get some sleep jsbodhi. ...your mother sounds like a pain, but I'm envious of your having her around.
well....I walked to work with one of my dogs and we almost died on the street from the heat. I didn't realize it was getting so hot today. Well, we made it there and back home. 2 miles each way. Then I was starved. Made a sandwich and ate an enormous bowl of soft serve frozen yogurt. I guess this was my cheat night. Even had cheetos....what the heck....
Ok...I guess it's time for a few episodes of 24.

My eating has been bad today too.
I ate a bowl of ice cream and an entire large bag of zesty doritos.
And I don't think I'm done.....

And I should be less annoyed with my ma- if she wasn't around I'd miss her so much xoxo

That's sweet, Fred! Thanks from Minnesota!

Yeah, the whole fair thing is pretty frustrating.

I remember when Dee got a scooter, he wrote about taking time to get accustomed to it and being careful.

Conversely, the fair simply rents them out. I suspect there's little -- if any -- safety instruction or minimum standards or requirements for demonstrating someone can safely navigate the motorized scooters among thousands of people. And anyone who is familiar with the Minnesota State Fair can vouch for the fact that it's moving walls of humanity. Ugh.

I am going to contact the fair after it's finished. My expectations that any complaint I make will make a difference are essentially nil. They'd have to be afraid of me -- e.g., lawsuit -- and this doesn't rise to the level of anything litigious.

And that's kind of sad. The fact that they rent scooters to anyone suggests it's a tragedy waiting to happen. I've already posted my tale of woe on FB and a former colleague wrote to say she'd seen someone knocked over and literally run over by an incompetent scooter operator at the fair last year.

Oh well ... I'm pretty peeved at the moment, but glad it's not worse.

Ven, can you actually file for workman's comp? But I suppose if you won't miss any work it's not really a claim, is it? I know nothing about this.

Although. ..I don't know how people have snacks, cookies, chips, whatever in the house. I would be eating it all. Fortunately I only have a small quantity of cheetos. Moderation is not in my vocabulary.

my mind is searching through the cerebral jukebox for The Song.

There has to be one song. Just one. That encapsulates this weekeender.
