SU...chew gum or eat chewy candy like twizzlers when the cravings hit and try and distract yourself! I know it sucks but it's so worth it if you can get through the first few days! xo

Iso Fidia was my second choice. Dang!

I was quite a fan of Colin Dexter's Morse books and the film adaptations with John Thaw. I'm headed to Google to find out what he drove. For some reason, I think it was the Iso Griffo but I could easily be wrong.

I've had a hard time with some dreams lately, too, Jen. Not fun. I have my second session with a counselor this week so hopefully that will help. She may be an interim counselor until I see the one with whom I have an appointment, or I may wind up with her. Not sure yet.

LBrain, meals at Chez Brain always sound delish.

The weather forecast changed overnight, from stormy to near-cloudless. Time for me to do a little self-care and go for a long walk.

LOVE the car!!!

Love the landscaping. Amazing stuff LB.

I am in hog heaven. Chopped on the TV and a lamb ragu cooking. The house smells wonderful. So excited.

Framed prints delivered this morning. Bill has recovered from the day yesterday. He was barely able to get home but we got him there. He pushed but insisted. He will not be pitied.

Hard boiled eggs cooling and planning pickled eggs today as well. Need to run and get some jars. Cannot wait. Beets and slivered onions.

I was wrong.

It was a Lancia in the earlier Morse books, a Jaguar in the later ones. Ah well.

There's a fine line between helping and enabling. I'm balancing treacherously on that line. I've been unsettled the past few days and I just realized that this is why. Some straight talk with someone I love is in my future (ugh)!!

I've never attempted to pickle anything. Wonder if okra would be semi easy?

Hi bim!! (okay...delayed response I know lol!).

That's a gorgeous color, Sao. I think the car has a no-nonsense yet understated sort of appeal.

John Lennon used to own one apparently (not the one I looked at)

I have posted this pic before - its a 1974 Iso Grifo. 7 litres of pure ecstasy for me

If I win the national lottery i'm buying one to bowl around in

Mind out for those grassy knolls Brynn

Brain, how do I get Japanese beetles away from my rose bushes? I've been knocking them off but they, of course, return.

I hate when people seem to want to start crap by putting me in the middle of it when I didn't say a word to anyone.

Are they women? Are you surrounded by women? If so, that's pretty normal then haha

I try to stay out of the drama. They really don't want to get me started in this bullsh*t.

Hello all ,
been catching pokemon most of the weekend when the servers haven't been out ..

just caught some fish kinda thing down by the sea front but it froze on the bounces as i caught it so i don't know if i got a fishy thing or not .. can't get on there now
It looks like it's a worldwide sensation so i guess thats why the servers are so slow , plus there was talk of a denial of service type attack ..

went walking round to the local pokestops but again it's freezing up and being slow especially on 3g so i'm not sure if i got anything or not ..

far to fat and hot at the moment with the humidity high for a delicate brit like myself … talk of it being 30c on tuesday .. i shall stock up on fizzy water and bitter lemon .

Have a sober sunday
