Someone here mentioned snarfing a Stouffer's Spinach Souffle a Week or so ago. There's a Recall on these Products. We just had one a few Nights ago. No harm/no foul. One of two Souffles in our Freezer is within the Recall period. FYI...

Welcome Drake and Bunny!

Not making much progress in work - time to introduce Mr Coffee to the mix.

Mesa, I have a mission for you...

Come up with an APP for my phone so that when I get a call from a telemarketer I can press a button and poison gas emits from their phone.

And yeah, I'm already on the do not call lists... time to start logging all these and start ANOTHER class action lawsuit...

Now if I could just return the mail I get...

I can picture Ben Stein saying, "Behan? Behan? Behan? Behan? Behan?..."

Glad to be back on the bus for what is sober weekend number one for me.

Also happy to see all the usual suspects still hanging around this thread. I usually don't participate in this one too much but it's still darn entertaining from the sidelines.

Hee hee...

Welp, LBrain, the Israelis beat me to your proposed App. Some years ago, they had several Operatives pack Semtex into the then-somewhat-larger Mobile Phones of Bad Guys. The Operatives would then get out, undetected. Call the Bad Guys' Phone, and when it's answered - KABOOM! - dead Bad Guy. This tense Scenario was adapted into The Hurt Locker.

Another Pal lays down his Phone, and plays his Piano for Telemarketers. Keeps ya outta Jail.

I had some weird Caller ID Number start showing up. I learned to Search on Google for said Number, with hyphens inserted. A leading Search Result goes right to a Page with similar Complaints - and an explanation for - said Phone Number. This one - with a WA Prefix - was actually routed outta Pakistan. 'Twas a PakiScam.

A Realtor Gal Pal at the Dog Park discusses Ins/Outs of Brokering Pot Growing Properties 'round here to All Cash Clients [obviously]. The tricky bits are ensuring Due Diligence is done to prevent Legal Splashback if some Local Ordinance or Rule is not disclosed, and followed. Kinda tricky stuff, actually, re: Fence height. Down-cast Lighting that avoids Light Pollution. Locked Gates. On & on...

Anyhoo, she helped out an older Gent with Dementia [not a Pot Story, here]. His House went into Foreclosure. He had plenty of Money. Some Scammers convinced him a Box of Money would be sent to the local Airport if he sent the Scammers $10k or so. He was convinced this mysterious Airport Money Box would allow him to save his House.

As with my near-Jury Duty Story of a few Days ago where unshakable, embedded Morals trumped Law, Elderly Scamming Scum get no quarter from me. We constantly had to watch over Dad in his late Years...

May The Road Rise Up To Meet You

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand

I'm in. St. Patrick's Day was never a big drinking event for me. I was usually working. However, I did have a love for the Irish beverages.

ML - I'm glad they no longer call the first round the second round. They must have taken a lot of slack for that one.

Local fave Villanova will not make it to the final four. My only prediction. Jay Wright is a good coach but needs more size and muscle if he wants to go to the big game. Live by the 3, die by the 3...

correction, Nova won't make it to the elite eight...

Welcome Michael!

I think they called it that because of the "play-in" round. Agree on Villanova. I don't have them going very far. Or Wisconsin. Even though it hurts to say that.

Oh it's just a friendly little betting pool. No big money. Winner will get something like $175. Not enough to put even a tiny dent in the rig he wants.

You're freaking cold Brynn is my nice warmer day today. All a matter of perspective. But it's WINDY. Maybe I should have put my hair up like that guy I saw with a man bun. As it is, my hair looks like Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall's - isn't she always looking rather fly away messy?

Hi Casey and I'm glad you're here.

Speaking of man buns. I also saw some girl wearing her bun on top of her head. I just don't like that look at all. It calls to mind walking around balancing a bagel on top.
