Way to go Tetra!

When do you start?

Melina, i'm glad everything is copacetic right now. It's better than being under duress

MLD it sounds like you are well rid of him

I have made a modest discovery. Supermarket Sainsbury sell these great but pricey fruit salad platters.

They often have to sell these for £1 though because of use by dates. Because they are really large I have never taken advantage but have now realised - it is only the strawberries that you need to eat on the day. Everything else - watermelon, gala melon, kiwi fruit, pineapple, coconut and apple are all good for a couple more days. Ha! Bargain and it guarantees my 5 a day

sao, my local Safeway store recently hired nine fulltime employees to just cut fruit and vegetables for those crazy-expensive cut-up things. Amazing. People will spend ten dollars for something that is four dollars before the ten minutes of labor involved. I don't think they mark them down...but I'll have to pay more attention. Thanks!

Thanks to all my buddies for the positive thoughts and vibes
Great news, Tetra. Keep us posted.

Great news Tetra!!! Your on your way to a fantastic job -
MLD....your story sounds like my second divorce. Cut off financially, penniless, sleeping on the floor in a friend's apt. He said I'd end up on the street. But...things happen. I made it through. That's why I tell everyone to screw the fear and take a risk. It turns out ok most of the time. Things happen, oportunities appear. I'm so grateful that I got through that and didn't succumb to fear.
I'm on my lunch break. Feels kinda chilly today.
Ruby...I'm glad to hear that you are relaxing with your kitties. You deserve some R and R.
not sure about the dog's foot. I hope I made the right decision not taking him in. We'll see.

Yay Tetra! That's great news!

Everyone has such disheartening relationship issues. MLD, what a terrible situation. I'm glad you got out when you did.

Melina, there's no sugar in the LaCroix BlackBerry/cucumber. I bought some a while back and would love to get more. I'm drinking their peach/pear as I type.

But I'm here to get kids at school. See you later!

I'll have to look for the blackberry/cucumber LaCroix. I like the lime flavor. But really what I ought to do is start using my Soda Stream. Duh.

MLD Target had the blackberry cucumber flavor. They also had other ones. They're the thinner, taller cans.

I roasted a chicken while the kids were at school. Now I'm making gravy with the drippings. It'll be reheated tho since they have tae kwon do today and I'm not letting them skate just because I'm home.

This is my second marriage SoberP. No kids in the first one. It was an extremely wretched time in my life and when my drinking really picked up. You can get through it. It's rough but time heals.

good going Tetra. We all knew you could do it!

Well, we can spend money on a new camera, we certainly can spend money on good tires for the car. She complained last winter a 'few' times.
I went to the local place to see what they had - and their attitude...
I called costco to see what they had, same tire $27 cheaper but I had to order it online. I went online and discovered the same tire that was 99 over the phone turned into 82 online with instant discount.
So that's 45 bucks a tire cheaper than my local tire discount store.
$45 X 4 =

and thanks for all your comments, yeah, I do need to get on the stick looking for work, I just don't want to have to relocate now that she is 'back in school' and working at a local hospital that is going to reimburse her for it. And I am still having to proof read papers. etc. I got a million excuse...
