Thoroughly follow the path...If you stick with that....You'll be OK....It even tells you what color pen to use.

I suggest columns. It helps us to see the patterns better.

1. Name: 2. Resentment: 3. Affects My: 4. My Part:

Then list the name, resentment, what it affects, and your part, but I couldn't see my part without the help of a sponsor. I used lined paper and only had about 4 lines between each person. I completed column 1, then I went down column 2, then 3, then 4. That is where I needed another alcoholic to see how I behaved in each situation as I often couldn't see my part. It's also about putting our ego aside and truly seeing our part.

Best wishes,

You may want to post this in the 12 step alcoholism forum.

??? I didn't ask you to, I was just asking if you MUST do it that way...
Their are no musts in AA.............You can do whatever you want as long as your prepared to live w/the the consequences of your actions. You can do it upside down & naked if you want. Just accomplish the given objective, which is an honest, searching, fearless, through, inventory of the moral character defects that have kept you in bondage to alcoholic.

90 days back. So crazy how time flies. I couldn't have done it without this forum, my husband and all the people that stuck by me even in my worst moments.

"please join us as we trudge the road to happy destiny" may God keep you until then.

I relapsed.. Had a fall out w my best friend who drank and cut ties and got too HALT. Really pissed at myself but went to a meeting this morning and shared. A relapse is a relapse is a relapse. I have a sponsor but I wasn't really working the program I was just on cruise control but now I need to go full throttle and work it bc I'm worth it.

I've learned that it's normal and my sponsor is having me call her to check in hourly minus sleeping. I've got a day under my belt. Do you count the day you relapsed as one day or the day after?

I'm fuzzy on the exact day....I think the original AAer's used the last day they drank. It's personal.

Glad you are trying again!
