Godspeed, Trish - you'll be on everyone's mind tomorrow. You've meant alot to me as I've struggled to get well & every time you've faltered I've grieved for you. This time you sound so different, so at peace with the inevitable. I'm not one to lecture, but I agree with Dee about the last hurrah. They're never what we want them to be, they're dangerous and foolish. You have that garbage out of your system now, why not leave it at that? (It just makes it that much harder, I speak from experience.) Love, Joanie

I've been watching your story for a while now, just wanted to offer some encouragement and wish you luck in rehab. I'll be watching to see when you can update us on your progress. I sometimes find myself thinking about you during the course of the day and wondering how you are, how your hanging in there.. I'm astonished and amazed by you and I hope with all my heart that your able to work through whatever causes your need to use and that you live a wonderful, healthy and fulfilling life from here on.

Got my van back. All packed and ready except for what I need in the morning.
No last hurrah.
Just goin to maybe eat something and watch tv then go to sleep.
Ooh ..I just got a lttle nervous.
This is really happening now.

I keep waking up covered in sweat. Having some really intense dreams.
I was juts hiding from the cops in a public restroom. Whoa!
I am still only able to get an hour or so of sleep at a time.
I am getting nervous. I almost had second thoughts last night.
But there is no turning back now.
No friggin way.

I was always nervous before going to rehab. All 7 times. Yes, 7! I say this not out of pride but out of telling you that it takes what it takes. This can be the start of a new life for you. I'm glad your not going at it "one more time" before rehab.
Please keep us posted as you can and you remain in my thoughts and prayers!

Chi, I am so happy to see you have not given up. I know this has been a struggle but you have shown so much strength by continuing to keep putting one foot in front of the other. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I can't wait till the day we see you feeling better and on your way. :ghug3
