Poets' day? I did not know. I think I will go readOliver Wendall Holmes' A Chambered Nautilus.
Today I drive back to the city for my nephew's high school graduation tomorrow. Lots to do before I leave:
- buy kitty litter for an oil spill
-load up bikes and look up the address of a metal recycler
-clean kitchen
-finish washing a wool shirt
Well, "many miles to go before I sleep" . . . . . where does that poem come from?

Venus, I've now lost 57 pounds and am hoping to lose about 18 more or so eventually. Even if I don't make it, I think by continuing to eat healthy and exercise, I'll still feel so much better. It's just that I've been in "loss" mode for so long that maybe I do need to focus on other things for awhile. Must be my OCD kicking in, LOL!

Hi all -
Popping in to wish everyone a good weekend.
BB is 3 months old and all smiles when he sees a familiar face.
We are teaching SisK to call for daddy/mommy if she needs to use the potty at night so that we can drop diapers all together. We turned on the monitor late last night and she apparently had been asking for a bit, so when it clicked on we heard he call for hubby by his first name, followed by “I have a cookie here for you...” to try and get my husband to come get her. (Note, SisK has yet to have a cookie according to my knowledge - she just knows that my husband likes them). It was pretty funny. She is turning into quite the operator...
Bekind - prayers for your father and energy to do all the things.
FBL - it is frustrating when you put in the effort and don’t see the results. Keep the path on positive behaviors, usually plateaus are temporary.

I woke up so got up at 3am felt weary at 6 so went back to bed and fell asleep until 8am.
and I feel fine. Usually have a thick head if I go back to sleep somehow.
SE, SisK is adorably funny. Yaay for BB turning 3 months xx

Hubby has just finished a 10 week stint of working on China time so is back 'in the big bed' ( no longer needing to get up at 3am so not needing to sleep in the spare bed) needless to say after 10 weeks of having the bed to myself I didn't sleep much last night but the cuddles made up for it!
FBL I would like to loose more weight but I'm now within the healthy bracket so no longer get hung up over it. I eat pretty healthy and exercise, I figure I not gonna enter any beauty contests at my age so why obsess about myself!

I sometimes forget that not everyone knows that acronym. I will leave it there!
Toots and FBL, yep - I had to learn not to obsess on the weight numbers and enjoy the benefits (small though they are).

Mil has her cleaners coming today so we’re going to visit my sister and brother in law in South Yorkshire. It’s their wedding anniversary and sister’s birthday both on the 26th. We haven’t seen them for a while so it will be good to catch up.
It’s a sunny start again, hope it stays around.
