Haven't posted in this thread in a while.
Things are looking up. The voices have been relatively quiet and I have a psych appt coming up. I'm taking steps to overcome my anxiety/agoraphobia. Today I'm going for a walk at 6am then collecting my welfare at 10am.
Weight loss isn't going so well. I do well during the day then binge at night. Going to try snacking on fruit instead of cookies if I wake up hungry tonight. Exercise is going well. Went for a nice run yesterday. Doing some strength training today and starting yoga with adrienn's 30 day challenge.
I celebrate two months sober today. Couldn't have done it without the Antabuse which I'm in the habit of taking first thing in the morning.

Freedomfries: Congratulations on two months of sobriety. Your cravings should be going away. Also congratulations on your exercise. Hang in there for the weight loss, it will come. You are doing a lot of good as it is. I am on the same path: sobriety - 78 days, exercise - walking 30 to 40 minutes, and weight loss - haven't lost an ounce.

I am grateful today for arranging to get my golf cart tire fixed. The dealer will pick the cart up tomorrow and have it back on Friday. Have some minor cravings but I just wait them out and they go away.
Well, the golf cart will be ready with a new set of tires but we will be heading North for the summer so the golf cart will sit in the garage. I don't like to leave things not fixed. My blood sugar and weight were reasonable but not great this morning. I was hoping to lose some weight without the empty calories of booze.
Hi April crew! I’ve been reading along, but posting regularly in May.
Day 88. Played nine holes of golf today in sweltering heat of 92 deg F. Walked the course and played not great but decent after a three month break due to surgery. Cravings are few and not very strong.

Gosh I hope you hydrated through that !!
What is the humidity there....I keep hearing it is higher than ours (Columbus OH) but I don't see how it is possible. We have been at 95% odd all day.
It might go down to 80. Wow. Sigh.

Florida has jungle weather this time of year with high temperatures over 90 deg F and relative humidity over 90%. However, I am currently in Illinois with summer weather similar to Columbus. We are having an unusual hot spell this week. I am trying to lose weight so maybe I lost a few ounces walking the golf course Wednesday.
