24-hour Recovery Connections Part 513
Even though I'm retired, I still get excited about Fridays, LOL!
Looks like my granddaughter will be coming over today so I'm going to get my cleaning done early. I want to spend some quality time with her! 👵🏻
No big plans for today with the exception of more organizing. I'm also trying to do a few repairs each week and currently have my pantry doors on the kitchen floor. I had to glue a few parts and wanted to make sure it was set before I put the doors back on. At least my pantry is organized :-)
I'll check in later but right now, I'm praying for 24 sober hours @ 8:45 AM EST

Ooh, I didn't know there was a plant lovers thread...I'll have to check it out!
Still winter here too, but I'm craving some real herbs to use when I cook, and from what I've read, the AG performs no matter what season it is. Also, the light source shines around the AG and onto the cabinet I have the unit on so if I transplant, I can set the plants right next to the AG and they will get plenty of light.
I've changed most of my lights to LED, but I've done it gradually so I didn't really notice a significant drop in my electric use. I have 11 huge bulbs in my kitchen and my main reason for changing them was the heat produced by the traditional bulbs was killing me in the summer. No air conditioning (practically Amish!) so every little bit helps.💡

Yeah having fresh herbs in winter would be nice. Maybe I can convince my partner that there's still room on the kitchen counter for one of those. It's my birthday in a few days anyways
True, that's another great advantage of LEDs (does it sound already like I'm getting paid to advertise them? ). We don't have AC either, they're not very common here despite the temperatures often rising above the 90 or 100 F mark in summer, you just have to move slow during those months!
Have a nice time with your granddaughter today and enjoy the DIYs and organising! I love that kind of stuff and often use it as an excuse to procrastinate my school readings....
Good morning Venus
Checking in at 2pm on another cloudy day. I woke up at 7:30 this morning after only 6h of sleep because of pain so I'm feeling very tired. Got some reading for school done but now all my energy is gone and there's still so much of the day left... not sure what to do with it!
Congratulations Willow, two weeks is amazing!

I went for a walk instead, I needed a little pick me up to not fall asleep. I'll try to do something slightly productive for the next few hours if I can. I always feel bad when I'm basically just waiting for time to pass because it really is so precious.
