Greetings..I was over three months sober until I caved to my AV recently. Then I drank on 6 of the next 11 days. Like an addict, I said 1/21/21 is a cool day one, now I'm thinking 2/1/21 - CRAZY. I'm going to stay the course, I have the tools and am committed to sobriety. So day three and need another 24 hours! Be well everybody.

24 more please. I somehow managed to shave 3 seconds off my 200m row benchmark. Which is fantastic but not my PR. But I can’t believe how well I did. Still in shock over that.
Yesterday is one of the days of the month I absolutely dread. it’s when I need to make and assemble a board packet for our board of directors. People are always late with their materials and that makes me have to stop what I’m doing (like having dinner with my family) to finish assembling. The deadline for materials to me is Wednesday at noon not Friday at 6:40pm. Especially during earnings. At any rate, I got it done and slept well.
today I have to draft a reference page to teach first graders about the architecture of New Orleans and have them draw and decoration their own front door. Some folks thought it was related to Mardi Gras and didn’t support the idea for some reason. So I now have to email the children’s parents explaining.
Happy Saturday, it’s pancake day here. Chocolate chip and some blueberry ones. Congratulations to everyone celebrating milestones today.

A nice cool day and now cold night too! My sweetie will be playing his “Music on the Porch” at 8:00pm. Though, he’s playing from inside the house 💛. You guys know I love the cold weather, oh to win the Lottery and buy a home in the snowy woods!! 🌨🌨🌨
I’m in for my next 24 ....

Checking in at 1:45 pm! Bad sleep again but at least the pain is better (Thanks Dee!). I have lots of reading to do and wanted to finish sewing a curtain plus some small repair jobs so it'll be a busy Saturday. Weekends barely feel like weekends during lockdown, everything just blurs together a bit anyway. Still grateful that my partner is a little more stable again. Phew, those last weeks sure gave me a few more greys!
Oh and for dinner I WILL make lasagna tonight. Just have to note it down somewhere to be accountable. I've been procrastinating on that dish for days now, as I always want to cook something that's a little less time consuming. But if I don't cook it today the ingredients might go bad. So tonight it's gonna be lasagna night!

Yeah having fresh herbs in winter would be nice. Maybe I can convince my partner that there's still room on the kitchen counter for one of those. It's my birthday in a few days anyways
True, that's another great advantage of LEDs (does it sound already like I'm getting paid to advertise them? ). We don't have AC either, they're not very common here despite the temperatures often rising above the 90 or 100 F mark in summer, you just have to move slow during those months!
Have a nice time with your granddaughter today and enjoy the DIYs and organising! I love that kind of stuff and often use it as an excuse to procrastinate my school readings....

I don't know how much counter space you have, but I have my AG on an Ikea 4 cube thingy in my family room in front of a sliding door we don't use. Do you have space in a dining room or living room? They don't take up much room at all!
You inspired me honey, and I got FIuffy's Note going again. ❤️
