Class of March 2020 Part One
BE, I look like Arnold too, just the 70 year old version, lol. I read you are moving to a new city, that can be stressful. Maybe new city, new start? I moved to San Antonio two weeks ago so kind of in the same boat.
Congrats on one week. The older we get the longer and harder it takes to get back to normal after a binge. It did with me anyway.

I'm sat on my bed in a strange room watching SMART tools online. Moving forward, slowly and painfully.
I really am going to have to home soon, given the medical advice here in the UK. That will be odd but so be it
Sober and strong, drinking isn't getting a look in. But I'm tired and sad
A very full day tomorrow if it doesn't all get cancelled by corona!!

Writing my first post of Day 3....kind of a weird day - mandated to work from home for at least two weeks starting today, high school Senior at home, college freshman at home...husband at home sleeping as he usually does since he works night....and roads were eerily empty when I had to go to the bank to sign on a new business account I needed to open.
This working from home at the beginning of this sobriety effort might actually help a lot - no driving home at 5-6pm past the usual stores to purchase wine. And if the two weeks working from home stretches even longer that could be a good thing too. I am just going to keep an open mind and go with the flow as much as I can.
Headed out for an evening walk shortly before the sun starts to tip down in the sky.

Keep posting FF - I stayed on SR 24/7 my early days.
I really wanted change.
congrats on your week WL - I know it's been a tough one.
This is not the end Be - things will get better eventually.
Have you organised the logistics of you moving home?

Not yet dee. I'm away this week and next two to give space for us to plan that well...but it looks like being cut short this week due to corona making the plan unfeasible. (A back up plan was staying with my parents but they need to isolate!!). As if this wasn't tricky enough...but we'll sort it
Hi everyone
Suze, it’s so good your sister got back before they put in the 2 week quarantine ❤️
Thanks Be123, yes a month seems like a good goal I’m hoping the anxiety will ease. I was out of my rescue remedy pastilles but just bought some more yesterday. I think they help a little
Bilr I agree, it will be so much better to get through this not drinking. I too would have been worrying if I had enough alcohol to get me through, when there are way more important things to consider, and we need a clear head and as strong an immune system as possible. Alcohol plays havoc with immunity too.
Well done on gummy bears Otter, a way better choice I consumed sugar a bit especially in the first week, to help get me through.
Stay with us FF, you can do this!
You too Tink, don’t beat yourself up, just try to learn something about what triggers you and how to combat it in future. You’ll feel so much better by your birthday if you don’t drink for 90 days. You’re still here with us on SR, which is great. Together we’re stronger
Thanks RAL I got some more Rescue Remedy pastilles (I had run out). I think they help a little with the anxiety. That and deep breaths
WL a week is awesome! Well done
I’m on day 16 and getting ready for my day (Tuesday morning here). Sending you all support to stay strong
