welcome back Peaches - I mentioned a plan for your road trip?
I think having a recovery action plan is pretty vital guys - otherwise when we fall into situations when we
Its not really about getting drunk or not either - for me any amount of alcohol could start the madness again - just not worth the risk.

Morning, starting day 5. I'm away for a few days but I will check in if I can. otherwise I will be home Friday. Won't have any access to alcohol or money so I will still be on track. Will be not should be! Hope you all have a good day today keep going x
They could make a TV show. It would be about a time-travelling bot that popped up all over the show healing the world. It could be called In-dee-structable.
Good morning and good afternoon lovely April class.

Hi guys, hope everyone is doing well.
Today is day 80 for me, not really having any cravings thankfully. I've been lucky enough to only have a couple close calls of relapse.
i started my new job over a week back too and thats going really well. Life without booze is better and worth the struggle.

Welcome Sweeti and Press, and good morning to all of you.
It's wonderful to see so many of you adding on the days. Very inspiring.
I'm at Day 2, but going to follow Dee's advice and start working a plan of sobriety today. I want to be ready when the weekend rolls 'round again.
Have an amazing day, all!

I also wondered if Dee had set up some sort of bot to give generic answers while he is sleeping haha.
Day 7. Went to 7:30am AA meeting. It's a daily meeting so great way to start the day. I am trying to be mindful of my thoughts so I don't get caught up in 'stinkin thinkin'. Have a good day class.

First time poster here. I have a binge drinking problem I have been dealing with for quite some time. Long periods of abstinence have been possible for me (2 months being the longest), but each time I clean up my act, I tell myself I can control my drinking and end up back where I started.
i have lurked here off and on, and know I need to develop a better plan. Also need to figure out how to abstain when my spouse is a one glass of wine at dinner type of drinker. It’s always around at home and social occasions.
Anyway, 16 hours sober at the moment. Look forward to learning from and with y’all.

Day 5 done. Difficult situation this week... away on a break and the only one not drinking, not the best thing for early recovery, but I chose a soft drink and if I could do that today I can do it again tomorrow.
