I had a house full of people while my son was here, and booze in the house. When that all died down there sat a half full bottle of Canadian Club, my nemesis. That **** went right down the drain, which is exactly the way this sober journey started almost 8 months ago. I’m not going back.
Jimi, you still have been sober for like 7 of the last 7 1/2 months, right? That’s a good head-start you gave your body to recover. Getting back on the wagon now will keep you in pretty good shape towards recovery. That stuff is evil and trying to rob you of all you can be. Stay with us.

Good morning....
Hope everyone is doing fine....
I hung out with my friends yesterday...usual they drank until 1:30am playing pool...playing music...I was there and I didn't have urges, I know I was feeling little out of place...but didn't matter to me....all it mattered was I had good time without drinking...and I did. Feels good to wake up hangover free....
Day 131 no drinks, one day at a time, staying sober and strong...

Waking up without a hangover is the best! Everyday I stay sober, I am grateful for for waking without a hangover. Never gets old.

Rain has finally stopped here, i am going to mow the lawn and do the yard work before fall starts....
