Morning peeps - up at 4.30am today. Couldn't sleep, (lots going on at the moment, not all of it good 
) I went out for a walk around the garden and thought "nature is sooo beautiful". I love this thread - it's fabulous. Can I set us a challenge - aside from what we're doing artistically at the moment - can we each take a moment to either sketch, photograph, model, write, whatever for 10 minutes this weekend about something that's inspiring you at the mo and share the results? You don't have to post if you don't want to....
I'll start :-) I took this photograph yesterday as I loved the expression on the duck's face and I'm thinking of drawing him on a greeting's card for my sister's birthday....

I'm back! I did lots of projects with the niece but no work of my own. That's ok I feel really good about it.
Yixi thank you for the challenge I will participate this weekend! I hope you are doing ok.... you mentioned stuff is going on. Hang in there, keep creating. I love the duck!

Oh one of the projects I did with the niece was to take blank white t-shirts and markers and glitter paint and make a pattern. We would choose one fruit and one animal and draw as many different versions of those two as we could invent, covering as much of the shirt as we could, until it was done. They turned out great!
and I'm doing it without the booze so that's a good start

Hello friends....got sidetracked over the weekend (not in a good way) but managed to work on a painting yesterday. It was inspired by the release of a new album from one of my favorite bands....so I included it in a photo with the new cd and posted it on IG....it got a "like" and a comment from their bass player! Not bad!

Artists in Recovery is sort of a play on "Artists in Residence" haha but yes we are virtual artists in residence. This is a "place" to me
